Hunter’s Top Playmakers at Freshman Showcase

Reddicks scored on all levels of the court and was virtually unstoppable getting to the rim. Defensively, she just overwhelmed players, taking the ball and scoring instantly or blocking shots and taking it back coast to coast. The young guard could get wherever she wanted to on rhe court. Her handles, hezis, and conversions are way beyond that of Freshman. She can really get after and can shoot from anywhere in the gym. At one point during the Showcase, Long knocked down 3 straight jumpers,  then came down the court with a hesitation move, a head fake, and converted a midrange jumper that left coaches in amazement. Greene had some nice penetration and dishes for scores. Greene has very good handles and a high basketball IQ. Some of her impact can't be measured on the court. She hustles every play and gives it 110 percent on the floor. She is that player who inspires teammates and elevates the play of others by the effort she is giving on the floor. And Greene has the game to compliment the effort. Anyone who became complacent or lazy with their dribble found the ball going in the opposite direction. Rollins was a thief on the floor and showed how defense can turn the tide on any game.
