I'm closing out my Neville Jones Invitational coverage with some players from New Mexico, Arkansas as well as Oklahoma and watching close to 100 teams over my 4 days, Super 64 started it off, one more time, talent is everywhere if you know what you're looking at

Ruby Trammell-5'9 G ([program_tooltip program_id='712401' first='Arkansas' last='Sting'] 17U) 2024 AK

Trammell handled the ball and saw the floor well in the open court, under pressure, and her "on the money" passes in traffic were a boost for me, as was her showing the COP, and change of pace, while going full speed. She did a good job talking the defender off the dribble in the set, body control was nice on her finishes and she showed she could drop it from outside, with a hand in her face

[player_tooltip player_id='870022' first='Marlee' last='Raby']-5'7 G ([program_tooltip program_id='712401' first='Arkansas' last='Sting'] 17U) 2024 AK

Raby dove on the floor for loose balls, and played solid defense in the set as well as baseline to baseline yet she also did a good job of positioning herself to take the charge, numerous times. She understands how to get hers "in the flow" and she played within herself meaning she doesn't do things out of the ordinary but her dropping the long ball was also solid

[player_tooltip player_id='403381' first='Janessa' last='Navarrete']-5'5 G ([program_tooltip program_id='713149' first='Las' last='Cruces Premier']) 2024 NM

Navarrette understands how to control the tempo and her heady play was refreshing as she set her teammates up for good looks. Her court vision in transition as well as in halfcourt was nice and she showed she could knock down shots from outside while being defended

[player_tooltip player_id='357694' first='Yvanna' last='Villareal']-5'5 G ([program_tooltip program_id='713149' first='Las' last='Cruces Premier']) 2024 NM

Villareal used a deceptive first step to attack the basket, with either hand, from multiple spots on the court. She also showed she could finish, not only after contact but using either hand. She saw the floor, even dished while attacking the basket and she dropped the jumper from outside

Abbigaile Vazquez-5'7 G ([program_tooltip program_id='713149' first='Las' last='Cruces Premier']) 2024 NM

Vazquez did a good job helping to create turnovers and one way was using her hands to come away with steals and another was showing good timing to block shots. She also played the passing lane to go along with solid pressure defense yet her jumper was also a plus

Neveah Sanchez-5'4 G (Burner U) 2024 OK

Sanchez left a lasting impression, well first impression as her acrobatic finishes helped get my adrenaline going. She's explosive off the dribble, and body control helped enable her to finish after contact but she also showed she could drop the jumper by creating her shot in the set, mid to long range. Her stop-and-pop in transition was also nice and she did something else I love to see, played the passing lane

Cyriah Roberson-5'6 G (Burner U) 2024 OK

Roberson gave me an encore performance from last season and guess, she is still playing the passing lane. She uses her athleticism on both ends, her "on the ball" pressure baseline to baseline helped to create turnovers to go along with reading the floor and coming away with steals. She attacked the basket strongly and finished the same way, after the lick
