Continue ReadingWe have already gone over the top five prospects in the 2025 class, our updated rankings from Prep Girls Hoops New Jersey. From that, we go to the bottom five in the top 10, talking about the No. 6-10 rated rising juniors in the state as most recently ranked by the site.
No. 6: Kennedy Henry Kennedy Henry 6'1" | CG Blair | 2025 State NJ – CG, Blair
An incredibly exciting prospect, Henry shot up the rankings for good reason this summer, but she’s been dominating in high school all the same. Her height, currently 6-1, is a massive advantage to her as a guard as she’s just as good down low, hauling in rebounds, getting positioning, swatting shots or passes away, etc. Additionally, it helps her out in different facets of the game like three-point shooting and passing where those extra inches make all the difference in knocking down shots or finding open teammates.
No. 7: Faith Williamson Faith Williamson 5'8" | PG Saddle River Day | 2025 State NJ – PG, Saddle River Day
The focal point of Saddle River Day’s team is Williamson, a dominant guard who just might be the best shooter in the state, if not is in the conversation for that. In her first two high school seasons, she’s knocked down more than 70 three-pointers a year, averaging 2.8 made threes a game. She’s a prolific scorer and an efficient one at that, making her presence felt early and often with the ball in her hands. Her defense has really come along as well, a smart defender with a keen eye for the ball.
No. 8: Charlotte Tuhy Charlotte Tuhy 6'0" | SF Madison | 2025 State NJ – SF, Madison
Tuhy once again makes an appearance near the top of our 2025 rankings following a fantastic sophomore season that included career-highs across the board, with 20.9 PPG and 9.4 RPG. Tuhy isn’t just a double-double machine or defensive force, knowing how good she is in the frontcourt. She’s as good, if not a better player offensively, and she can shoot the three with the best of them, hitting 92 so far in her high school career. Do not underestimate the rise of the stretch forward.
No. 9: Mia Gestosani Mia Gestosani 5'8" | PG Mount St. Mary | 2025 State NJ – PG, Mount St. Mary
Gestosani has shot up our rankings, just making it inside the top 10 after great performances during the AAU season with New Heights NYC and equally great performances in high school. She set career-highs for herself in scoring, rebounding, passing, blocks, steals, just about everything. Gestosani is a versatile guard with a high motor and what looks to be great leadership skills at the top of the key. She plays with confidence and has the skillset and tape to back that up in a big way.
No. 10: Tessa Carman Tessa Carman 5'11" | PF Red Bank Catholic | 2025 State NJ – PF, Red Bank Catholic
Rounding out our top 10 is Tessa Carman Tessa Carman 5'11" | PF Red Bank Catholic | 2025 State NJ , the last Carman in RBC’s program after Emma and Ally both graduated out, Emma doing so this spring. Knowing the immense talent on the Caseys roster, Carman’s numbers don’t necessarily jump off the page, but she’s going to be the featured forward for this team come the winter and should be one of the leaders in scoring, rebounding and defensive metrics. She’s excelled as a forward for RBC and benefits that much more from size and wingspan.
