Some of these players are ranked higher than what they were ranked last year. In this article, we hilight the players who elevated their ranking position the most.
Holland Harris Holland Harris 6’2″ | SF Monteverde Academy | 2025 State FL moved from the 17 spot to the 2 spot and was one of the most impactful stockriser in the 2025 class. The forward can do it all on the basketball court. I got to watch her up close in Louisville and in Wesley Chapel and she is as good as advertised. She can handle the ball, shoot it from any where on the court , runs the floor with conviction, and is a killer in the paint. Colleges across the country have extended offers and affirmed how special Harrris is as a player. Harris jumped 15 positions since our last spot and has her eye on one more spot. Until the next rankings come out, Harris will be balling out, because “that’s what she does.”

Abby Price Abby Price 5’11” | SG Westminster Academy | 2025 State FL made the move frlom 54 to 33 after an impressive summer. I got to see her up close at the High School Live period in Gainesville and in Orlando on the big stage. Price is a big time talent who can definitely fill it up on the basketball court. Her stock increased over 20 spots and she has yet to reach her ceiling. The sky is the limit for Price.

Nacoya Blocton Nacoya Blocton 6’0″ | PF Ridgeview | 2025 State FL elevated her position from 59 to 35. She opened a lot of eyes this summer and she was definitely one of the most talented offensive players I saw this summer. Blocton can shoot on the outside like a guard and can score inside with the left or the right. She is a nightmare for small forwards and holds her own against 4s and 5s. Blocton can also handle the ball in the open court. When given space to maneuver she is deadly off of of the dribble. I saw a lot of her games this summer, including games in Louisville and Orlando. Coaches have Blocton on their radar. She is a special talent in the 2025 class.

Olivia Staples Olivia Staples 5’6″ | SG Freedom | 2025 State FL shot her way from 78 to 47. She is one of the most prolific shooters in the 2025 class and shoots threes for breakfast. Staples has other facets to her game, but her shooting the rock is her calling card, and she can shoot it off the the catch or off the dribble. She can score in a multitude of ways. Last year, I saw her at a PGH event and one of the coaches looked at her in disbelief. Many have had that same look at opposing gymnasiums – Staples knocked down 77 threes during last high school season.

Savannah Ferguson Savannah Ferguson 5’10” | SG Seminole | 2025 State FL moved from 135 to 60 over the last year. Ferguson is one of the top shooters in the 2025 class and cn really fill up the scre card. This past season, she averaged 18.1 points per game and connected on 64 threes. Ferguson will be a player to keep an eye on this upcoming season.

Destiny Donaldson Destiny Donaldson 5’9″ | SF Ribault | 2025 State FL moved from 97 to 66 and rises over 30 spots since the last ranking. The sky is the limit for this baller who is probably one of the best offensive rebounders in the State. Her ability to reload her jump is special and puts her in position for a lot of offensive rebounds and putbacks. Donaldson can also step out from the goal and play on the wing. She has the ability to connect on outside jumpers, midrange shots, and can take a defender off of the dribble. She also has a knack for getting to the freethrow line. Last year she had one game where she attempted over 20 free throws. Donaldson will be a player to watch this upcoming season. Something special is brewing for Donaldson and her Ribault team.
Jamison Cardwell Jamison Cardwell 5’10” | SF Buchholz | 2025 State FL jumped from 170 to 74 jumps up nearly 100 spots which says a lot about her basketball abilities. Cardwell averaged 20.1 points per game last season and scored 17 or more points in 16 games- a certified and bonafide scorer.
Joy Wright moved from 143 to 75 in the latest rankings. She is one of the is the most impressive forwards and athletes on the First Coast. She is a physical presence on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. Wright can play through physical contact and can score and handle business down in the paint. Defensively, she cannot be ignored . She has the strength to defend 4s and 5s, and the mobility to defend 3s in space. Wright is a versatile and special talent. Her stock will continue to rise.
Breah Usry Breah Usry 5’4″ | SG Ponte Vedra HS | 2025 State FL jumped 97 spots, going from 197 to 101. She is one of the most talented guards and athletes in the 2025 class. Usry is the ultimate slasher who can maneuver through defenses and finish with incredible athleticism. The shots that she converts can leave you speechless. Defensively, she applies relentless pressure and gets a lot of steals and layups as a result. Usry is a special talent. She is capable of having a “monster” Junior season.

Addison Ivery Addison Ivery 5’4″ | PG Venice | 2025 State FL improved from 149 to 123, moving up over 25 spots. Ivery can flat out get it done on the basketball court and is a bonafide “sniper.” Last high school season, Ivery connected on 65 threes and averaged near 10 points per game. Over the summer she had the three-ball cooking. In one game during the college live period, Ivery knocked down 7 threes. She was special throughout the live periods this past July. Ivery also played well on the defensive end, wreaking havoc on the opposing point guard.

Jiyah Hamilton Jiyah Hamilton 5’2″ | PG Forest | 2025 State FL improved from 211 to 160. Hamilton jumped up 51 spots. The young guard is the epitome of hard work. Hamilton can shoot the three, she can penetrate to the rim, and she can create shots for her teammates. She is a player to continue to watch this upcoming season.
