Behind close doors, in driveways, in facilities wherever they may be, young ladies across this state are putting in work. Either alone by themselves, with a trainer, with a friend or two, shots are getting up, the player is getting better. Some are blessed with natural born talent. Others have to work to overcome. Either way, the work is being done. As they say in the Drew League, “ No Excuse, Just Produce.”
In this state, we are fortunate to have some solid talent. From east to west and in between, young ladies are getting after it. Though everyone doesn’t get the same opportunity or shine as others, we do recognize those who may have their backs against the walls. The ones who may not be the first or second option on their squad, but the ones who roll up their sleeves and fight. These are the “underdogs” who lace up their shoes, and go to work. “ No Excuse, Just Produce.”

Genesis Harris (5’6/ PG/ Beech)– Speedy floor general who can score the ball. From the arc, she unleashes her nice lefty release. She has a quick first step that enables her to get downhill and finish against contact. Defensively, she can defend like crazy. Creating chaos for her opponent, but if she is playing off the ball, knows how to read and react to exploit/ bait the other team into a turnover. She’s a heady floor general who will fit nicely into this Beech offensive attack. A selfless leader who gets after it with confidence.
Dacarra Ward Dacarra Ward 6'2" | C Bartlett | 2025 State TN (6’2/PF/ Bartlett)– Baby D is a solid option that’s hungry. Hungry to compete. Hungry to produce. A tone setter who owns the paint. Offensively, she’s a finisher around the blocks, as she has a plethora of back to the basket moves. Has a nice mid-range jumper she uses in pick n’ roll action. She’s a beast on the boards, reading the trajectory of the ball, putting it back in the hoop. Defensively, she’s an anchor. Blocking shots and grabbing boards. A great rim runner who brings energy on both ends of the floor.

(6’2/C/Houston)– After overcoming injuries, Kinsley’s confidence is soaring. The lefty took tremendous strides this summer, battling in the painted area. She was a beast on the boards on both ends of the floor, establishing her presence. She battles opponents, making it tough for them to score. When the ball was in the post on offense, she displayed nice footwork that led to the ball finishing at the bottom of the net. Hard working kid who is a student of the game.
