Kiara sat out last season for the Lady Gamecocks with an injury. She returns her senior season with 1,176 career points. Croskey picked up an offer late this summer from North Carolina Central University.
Croskey will be back in the starting lineup this season for the Lady Gamecocks. Kiara can survey the floor with her crafty passing skills and vision. She still maintains a solid mid-range game with her ability to knockdown shots. Croskey has been very instrumental in the program’s success over the years.
Will the Sumter HS Lady Gamecocks be the team to beat in Class 5A? We certainly know one thing Class 5A will be wide open this coming season.
Blake understands on how to go to work downlow on the block. She really works side to side with her play down in the paint. Dianna has a nice touch from near the basket and shows the ability to finish through contact.
Blake played very well at times this summer on the Grassroots Circuit with Lowcountry Premier 2024. She played on a very well-balanced Ashley Ridge HS team last season.
Dianna keeps the ball up high after rebounding it on both ends of the court. She will at times show some handles up the floor with the rock in her hands.
Rickell had to pick up her scoring output a year ago with the absence of Kiara Croskey Kiara Croskey 5’6″ | PG Sumter | 2024 State SC . She did just that while averaging 17.5 ppg, 4.8 steals and 2.7 assists last season for the Lady Gamecocks. Brown enters her senior season with 839 career points.
Rickell brings a quick set of hands and a feisty attitude to the floor for her team. She can play both multiple positions in the backcourt and on the perimeter. Rickell gives her team an outside threat from behind the three-point line. Brown constantly plays around the ball and brings extremely competitive attitude to the floor at all times.
Nesbitt is a true post player down on the block for the Lady Wildcats. Trinity surely likes to mix it up and down low with her ability to post up and seal around the basket. Nesbitt plays the game with a blue-collar mindset and really seems to bring a lunch pail to work every night. She missed some action this June at the SCBCA Camp in Rock Hill with the Lady Wildcats.
Trinity averaged 11.3 ppg and 8.1 rebounds last season for Woodmont HS. She has recorded 797 points and 696 rebounds over her 96-game career for the Wildcats.
Crawford will be a future Stock-Riser with her play this summer at times. She averaged 15.9 ppg, 4.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds last season for the Lady Bearcats. De’Ashaj will join forces this season with Aubrey Stevenson in the backcourt for the Lady Bearcats.
Crawford can push the ball up the floor with either hand or find an open teammate on the back end. De’Ashaj logs a lot of minutes for Head Coach Kenny Orr in the backcourt. She will touch the paint and attack gaps when she’s not dropping a floater into the bucket. Crawford connected on 48 three-pointers last season for the Lady Bearcats.
