Jackson will be one to watch this upcoming season. She is a force in the paint. She has touch and good finishing ability in the paint to be a problem. Once her back is to the basket, it’s pretty much over and I assume that will be the case for the next 4 years. Lots of potential with Jackson if she can put it all together. Has some stretch ability and is a rebounding machine. On the defensive end, she’s a force and a true rim protector with her size alone.
Ashely MacCalla
Ashely MacCalla
Maccalla will be one of the best prospects to come out of the state when it’s all said and done and is the frontrunner to be the best prospect in her class and in the state. Maccalla is dynamic and balanced in every facet of her game and is the ultimate gamer. As she gets more reps, everything will become slower for her and that’s when everyone should be wary. Her game resembles a throwback Chamique Holdsclaw with her ability to slash, shoot, defend, rebound, and score. Remember the name.
El’Dior Dobere
El’Dior Dobere
Dobere is a polished pass first point guard that has elite quickness and ball handling ability for her age. She has an explosive first step and can beat you off the dribble slashing to the basket with either hand. She has great hands and defensive instincts and will look to go on break for an easy bucket more often than not. Can light it up from the perimeter and is developing range with her fluid shooting mechanics.
Irelynn LaPlante
Irelynn LaPlante
LaPlante will looking to establish herself as one of the top guards in the state this season. She has range and can light it up from beyond the arc. Has a relentless motor and active hands to create turnovers and tuhem into easy buckets. Active on the boards and likes to run on the break. Good handle and ball control and doesn’t turn ball over.
