Lincoln Co. Lady Falcons Team Preview

The Lincoln Co. women's basketball team is a tough club to deal with. 25-5 this past year, these girls are out for revenge as they look to go deep into the season. With a solid district play schedule, these girls are confident and hungry to get going.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This summer they cranked it up a notch. Had a solid team camp, got into the weight room, girls got extra training and shots up, this year they are on a mission. The program has always been stable year in and year out. Led by Coach [player_tooltip player_id='900223' first='Chad' last='Tipps'], he has had some solid kids come through his program. With the foundation already laid, these girls are ready to soar to new heights.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This squad will look to play fast and fierce this year, beating you with their speed. They have size, they have quickness. Game planning for them will be tough. This club has some game changers on it and you better believe when playing this team, it's going to be a long 32 minutes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lincoln Co. Lady Falcons will be a fun group to watch. Not only are they skillful, but very talented. Lady Falcons program.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='496294' first='Abby' last='Bryan'] (5'10/Jr./ G)</strong>- Long wingspan, this prospect is super tough with the ball in her hands. She had an incredible travel ball season, where her confidence went through the roof. Blessed with great size, this kid can beat you from the outside or within. Can shoot the 3 ball at a consistent clip. Has a quick first step that enables her to put the ball on the floor and challenge opponents on the way to the rim. Incredible reach on the defensive end, she's able to poke balls loose or get deflections. Great kid who is going to have an unbelievable year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='506248' first='Molly' last='Brown'] (5'7/Jr./G)</strong>- They call her “sticky” at her AAU club [program_tooltip program_id='713296' first='Team' last='Brandan Wright'], Molly is a pest. Dynamic guard who is a great two way player. Offensively, she can knock down the 3 ball, pull up for the middy, or use her speed to go and attack the rim. Defensively, she is going to lock you up the full length of the floor. Applying pressure, she's going to frustrate you and disrupt the play or it's going to be a turnover. She gets steals by the bunches as her defense becomes her offense. Hints the name sticky, she's got those “sticky fingers.” Great prospect who is gaining the eyes of college coaches near and far.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='810533' first='Alyssa' last='Petty'] (6'0/Jr./F)</strong>- Dual sport athlete who is a fierce competitor. Can play on the inside or out. Nice touch with the ball in her hands. Contributes in many ways to help her club win ball games. Being that she's a beast on the soccer field, her skills translate onto the hardwood as well. Fast twitching hips, she's able to sit down and guard and keep opponents from scoring. Big on the boards on both ends, nice mid-range game, she's an option all opponents should keep their eyes on. Whether on the court or on the field, she will be a prospect for the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='291008' first='Allie' last='Bonner'] (5'5/Sr./G)</strong>- Hard working kid who is a selfless leader. She competes, giving it all every time she steps onto the floor. Coachable, paying attention to detail, executing, a couple of characteristics she excels at. Can knock down the open shots, can defend, is an excellent communicator. Looking to go out with a bang in her senior season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
