Continue ReadingChloe may have had the play of the day when she drove baseline and hit a beautiful up and under scoop shot through traffic. This star from Hough High can play and is truly an exciting guard to watch. She had numerous plays that left defenders scratching their head as she is very deceptively quick. I would have no problem playing Chloe on or off the ball. She knows how to keep the defense off balance as she showed off an array moves that allowed her to get opened for shots. She was also able to knock down a nice looking jumper after getting rid of her defender with a spin move. She can shoot it from mid range and she can shoot it from deep. She is a flat out elite level shooter that will shoot it with confidence. She gets nice rotation on the ball with her quick release and she just knows how to pick her spots. She has such an excellent feel for the game and she is bound to do big things at Hough over the next two seasons.

If there was ever a time to buy stock in a PG, now is the time. Samara King is a must-see guard who will draw your attention every time she has the ball in her hands. She is tough as nails and is the ultimate competitor. She plays the game as if her life defends on it and has unreal instincts as a basketball player. She not only enjoys playing physical but she appears to embrace the contact when it comes her way. She can be seen battling it out in the paint against opponents twice her size and does a great job battling against the screen. She will attack the lane hard and has absolutely no fear when she gets in the paint. Samaria went 2-2 in her first two shots of the game, showing how confident she is in her jumper. She has a quick release on her shot and she is a very dangerous shooter anywhere on the court. If she has a good look at the basket, she will shoot it without hesitation and see shot the ball at a very high percentage at the showcase. Samaria is just a fiery guard that gets after it on both ends. Winston Salem Christian continues to be a stop that college coaches have to keep on their list.

Danauje is such a patient PG that can really control the pace of the game. I love the way she owns that PG position and can slow the game down and allow her teammates to get into to their spots. While she can do so many things well as a true PG, my favorite attribute from her is her keen ability to scan the floor while she is bringing the ball up in transition. She is able to diagnose everything that is going on around her and make the right play accordingly. She does a great job running the pick and roll and makes excellent decisions with the basketball when she gets into the lane. Danauje had some strong moments where she showed she knows how to take over a game when she needs to and go right into attack mode. She just a terrific PG that plays the game the right way and can excel in any offensive system you put her in.

Taliya Rowe Taliya Rowe 5’9″ | CG Rolesville | 2025 State NC absolutely came to play basketball Sunday at the showcase. She is a player that I love to see at the off-guard position but she can certainly run the Point based on her strong ability to handle the ball the way she did on Sunday. She has a ton of handle and she is scary to see coming down the lane as she has a variety of moves that she will use to score inside. She can pull up for a jumper on the break or she’ll use her beautiful floater that she can knock down over defenders with consistency. She is an extremely hard worker who will follow up her shots and can rebound the ball like forward and take it the other direction. She is a tremendous basketball player that is certainly worth of more attention.
