Baker will have a new address this coming season at Lewisville HS. Trinity a guard previously attended Legion Collegiate in Rock Hill. Baker was able to defend on the ball today and showed some quick hands while doing that. She’s a reliable ball-handler in the backcourt. Trinity made some crisp passes today to teammates. She will look to be the senior leader for the Lady Lions this season.
Emma will certainly be a Stock-Riser in the very near future. She was able to finish drives with ease today. Daugherty took the ball coast to coast at times today and simply finished everything around the bucket. Emma can step-out and knockdown the open jumper when it comes her way.
She plays the game with a very good basketball feel and always seems to be in the right position on the floor to make a play. Emma picked up some offers this spring and summer for her efforts on the Grassroots Circuit and her Lady Green Wave squad.
Woods has a new address this season after playing at Legion Collegiate last season. Serenity is now attending South Pointe HS in Rock Hill. She certainly has the trigger to pull-up from down while on the floor. Serenity plays her best basketball off the ball. She will be a great piece to already talented Lady Stallions squad at South Pointe HS this coming season.
Schepp is a left-handed shooting guard who really makes her living shooting the 3-ball. Today Ella was able to take it in a bit and showcase a nice midrange pull-up game. Schepp is a very confident shooter on the floor. Look for her to step-up her game this coming season at Oceanside Collegiate with the departure of a few players in the program.
Morris surely isn’t the biggest kid on the floor. She makes up for it in determination and effort. Alana was able to come around some ball screens and drop a few jumpers here today. She can extend the defense out to the 3-point line. Morris is a key member of this Lady Bears program coached by Logan Kingsbury. She keeps the ball low to the deck and rarely turns it over.
Oxner was a new name face for us here at Prep Girls Hoops today. Xiomara brings a clue-collar attitude and mindset to the floor. She scored most of her points on putbacks and rebounds. Oxner was able to finish through contact on drives to the cup.
McLean has great length to challenge and alter shots on the defensive end of the floor. Miracle played a bit more face-up today here than we have seen in the past with her game. She does a great job of defending out on the perimeter and really looks to cause chaos at times with her versatility.
Miracle runs the floor very well and fills the lane in transition. She’s long and agile and still will continue to develop more and more down the road with her play for the Lady Panthers.
Johnson is a bit of a combo forward on the floor. Simone at times can pull up and knockdown the open jumper or post up with her back to the basket. She likes to put the ball on the deck and handle it out on the wing at times. Simone brings good versatility to the floor for the Lady Blazers. Johnson really does a nice job of playing to the whistle and never looks to take a playoff while on the floor.
