Causey really brings her lunch pail to work at times. Alyssa plays extremely hard and has no problems battling inside the paint. She can step out for the short jumper from time to time. Causey will jump on the deck for a loose ball. She certainly brings a lot of effort to the floor night in and night out.
Highlights
Dozier-Edwards likes to play physical down in the paint. Meaja plays the game with a blue-collar mindset. She gets by doing the things she knows how to do and that’s work hard and stay active. Meaja just does what she needs to do to be on the floor.
Thomas really feels comfortable playing out behind the three-point line or in the corners. Madison is a shooter and that is what she will be known for this season on the Lady Stags roster. She has a nice stroke when she gets her shot off from downtown. Madison makes herself available to receive the ball in the pocket while being shot ready. She has a very nice shot release and follow through.
Highlights
Kelly is a new name for the database. She plays in Downtown Charleston at Burke HS. Andrea is an athletic forward who still seems to be learning the game. Kelly rebounded some balls outside of her area here today.
Erykah is a new piece to the puzzle for the Lady Bears program this coming season. She sure does play the game hard and seems very coachable. Brown is a RAW talent and still seems to be adjusting to the speed of the varsity game. She does seem to work on the defensive end of the floor.
McCray brings good versatility to the floor for her age. Amani really likes to handle the rock up the floor. She put some good numbers last season as an 8th grader for the Lady Stags – Class 5A program. McCray will rebound the ball on both ends of the court and then take off up the floor with the ball in transition. Amani has a very good skill set for her young age.
Where will she debut next March 2024 in the first set of Prep Girls Hoops 2027 Rankings for the current freshman class?
Cumbie played a bit timid on the floor here today at the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo. Katelyn is another freshman on the roster for the Lady Wildcats come this season.
