With HS season less than a month and a half away, this showcase provided an outlook on what programs are loaded with potential impactful players. Below are 6 players that I believe are will be a huge piece to the success of their programs.
Turner’s athleticism is key to her success. She’s active, energetic, and shows her competitiveness on every possession. She has multiple gears that she can switch in and out of and plays with a ton of force.
Emma will be key to her HS programs success due to her versatility. She can play multiple positions, guard multiple positions, and be effective on the boards. She has a speed, power and the competitive nature to impact the game from start to finish.
Highlights
Casey has a huge amount of potential. The pace of her game, the aggression of her shot selection, and her IQ are all key to what level she’ll be at when HS season starts. She plays the game smooth but seems to have another gear that she can switch into. A definite piece to build around.
Highlights
The Fremd program should be in great hands with all the underclassman talent. Leading that young talent is Greta. Athletic, risky, and versatile. She can score from all levels, aggressive on the defense end, and has the motor to be impactful on both ends. With nothing but time on her side, Thompson has the chance to have a huge impact this season.
Highlights
Donovan is a perfect piece to build around for a rebuilding program. She plays the game with an edge, but remains in control for majority of the possessions. She can play the 1, switch to the 2 and has the heart and competitive nature to guard other positions. A key player to watch during the HS season.
Highlights
A ton of flare, a ton of moves but a ton of confidence and self awareness. Jamilah plays the game free, but it seemed like her focus is mainly to get her teammates going. The full court passes, the knowledge to attack two, to create for one. Jackson has a ton of talent and Westinghouse is in good hands.
