Victoria Walton Victoria Walton 5'5" | PG Kinkaid | 2027 TX (2027) heady point guard has shown mental toughness from the first time I saw her maybe 4 years ago. She handles the ball under pressure and she also has terrific court vision, while being pressured. I guess her growth spurt needs to be mentioned as she creates her shot to either drop the jumper while being defended or attack the basket and finish
Mackenzie Teuton Mackenzie Teuton 5'5" | PG Travis | 2027 State TX (2027) has also steadily improved over the years but her desire on both ends always stands out as she won’t get flustered and wants the ball in her hands in crunch time. Her deceptive first step enables her to take the defender off the dribble but she also can drop the mid to long-range, with a hand in her face. She sees the floor and makes tough passes look easy
Makayla Casey (2028) uses her frame nicely around the basket as she rebounds on both ends of the court and scores on putbacks. She also does a good job of scoring off the dribble, after contact included. She creates her shot and drops the midrange but her defensive pressure also needs to be mentioned because it helped to create turnovers
Amariah Cunningham (2028) is athletic and uses her athleticism on both ends. She did a good job defending “on the ball” but she also set the defender up smoothly to attack the basket, with either hand from multiple angles and finish after contact, her body control played a part in that. She also made good passes both off the dribble and in the set
Skylar Conway (2028) is another SC you’ll be hearing a lot about and this was my second time seeing her and she is going to be a problem for defenders. She’s “long and athletic” hopefully you’re paying attention because that is the base. She scores around the basket with either hand, putbacks included, yes, she rebounds on both ends but watching her score off the dribble with ease was nice, and so was her jumper
Ashlyn Martin (2028) brought heat on the defensive end off the top, baseline to baseline, and in the set, her pressure was smothering at times. She also did a good job hitting the boards, on both ends and showed the pull-up jumper
Adarra Vanderford (2028) battled on both ends for rebounds and watching her score on putbacks was nice as was her attacking and finishing off the dribble as she scored both ways after contact. She also played solid defense and saw the floor
Jordan Erickson (2028) showed she could not only see the floor but did a good job of doing it in transition. She attacked the basket after patiently setting the defender up to finish, her body control was solid and so was her jumper
Lynnden Smith Lynnden Smith 5'7" | PG Manvel | 2028 TX (2028) made my NEW FACES list a few weeks ago yet she found ways to show me even something new. As impressive as she is on the offensive end, her intensity on defense, playing against older players was very nice but don’t get it twisted, she will be a “nightmare to defend” because she can score off the dribble as well as mid to long-range
