Cassie Rodriguez (2024) created her shot under pressure and showed the pull-up jumper both in the set and in transition but she also used that creativity to attack the basket off the dribble. Body control was nice, and so were her finishes after contact. She also played solid defense and did something I love to see and that was “playing the passing lane”
Ma’Ryah Alfred (2027) had the #D1Lock dropped on her by me, some people say they’re conservative about saying things like that early yet when you know what you’re looking at, like I do, it’s easy. She is going to make the transition to high school ball with ease, her crossover coupled with the slight HEZ, and hesitation, is going to create problems for defenders. She can drop it from mid to long range, she also does a good job of scoring off the dribble and showing acrobatic finishes
Jalynn Perez-Richard (2025) is an athletic guard who used her athleticism on both ends and let me start with her defensive pressure baseline to baseline which helped to create turnovers. She also defended in the set but watching her attack the basket strongly off the dribble from multiple spots and finish after the lick. She also did a good job seeing the floor, in the set, and in the transition
Kamryn Billott-Jones (2026) is long and athletic and if you haven’t been paying attention, I call that the base. It’s a profile I love to evaluate, and more importantly, so do many college coaches and I say this a lot because I want to instill how important it is and repetition is the best way. She has good upside because she does things instinctively, like going after the ball off the rim along with interior defense and reacting well to switch. She also attacked the basket to score
Aminah Dixon Aminah Dixon 5'6" | SG Fort Bend Stephen F. Austin | 2025 State TX (2025) steadily finds ways to fill up the stat sheet and I’ve called her one of the most underrated guards in her class several times because she just gets the job done silently. Her on-the-ball defense both in the set and baseline to baseline is smothering at times yet she also plays the passing lane. Her court vision after the steal in the open court is nice, she also sees the floor in the set but her pull-up jumper and scoring off the dribble are also solid
Lala Rivera (2026) has been exciting to watch on the court for years and watching her create problems for defenders while playing up a few years ago spoke volumes back then. She’s still raising the sound as her ability to set the defender up to not only knock it down from mid to long range is very nice, but what’s even nicer is she does it with a hand in her face. She also has good court vision, both in the set and in transition
Pearson McVay (2024) caught up with her back in June after not seeing her since her freshman season but she too is “long and athletic” plus she stands above “the magic number” which is 6’0. That combination itself is attractive to many next-level programs and her intangibles make her more intriguing. She has the “college-ready” frame and watching her go after everything off the rim is a big plus but so is her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots. She also finishes around the basket
Eryn Roberts Eryn Roberts 5'6" | CG Iowa Colony | 2027 State TX (2027) told her mom she has the RIGHT initials because of her electrifying skills, at times she has me thinking about heading to the ER. Okay, she’s explosive with the ball and can turn the turbo on in the open court to blow by defenders. She also does that in the set yet her finishing off balance, with either hand, always has me smiling. Her mid to long-range jumper is solid, and so is her ability to thread the needle in traffic. She also does a good job defending “on the ball”
Paris Anderson (2024) closes it out with me saying I enjoyed seeing her playing the passing lane but she’s athletic and brought heat on both ends. She attacked the basket strongly and finished but her pressure on defense was more than solid because it helped to create turnovers. Her timing also needs to be mentioned because she blocked shots and she did a good job handling the ball and seeing the floor under pressure
