Roberts can hurt opposing teams in so many ways because she reads the floor and plays the passing lane very well, but seeing what she does afterward in the open court has always JUST DID IT for me. She can hit teammates in traffic from 20 feet away, court vision across the board looks good, yet she’s another “long and athletic” guard who can score multiple ways, including finishing acrobatically. Her “on the ball” pressure is sold, and she’s “vocal on the court” see evaluations here

Roberts is a two-way player that plays with a great intensity. A real pesky defender that is chaos to the ball handler forcing turnovers or ripping the ball out of their possession. Runs the floor well and understands how to find open space to get in scoring position.

Roberts has been fun to watch since I first caught her what seems like eons ago, and her shiftiness with the ball, coupled with her explosiveness off the dribble, keeps the defender guessing, but her court vision in transition, along with her baseline-to-baseline pressure, was solid. Stop and pop jumper looked good, and she scored off the dribble

Roberts falls into that “left a lasting first impression” years ago and when I say something will happen, it does. She goes by defenders in transition by adding that extra gear yet that also works in the set and watching her finish after contact acrobatically is another plus. Her midrange, playing the passing lane as well as seeing the floor were all solid, along with her defense.

Roberts was perplexed when I asked what her name was and she responded “why do you always ask me, you know my name” and I responded yeah but you’re a blur on the court but she was All Tournament at the PGH Freshman Showcase and that sealed it
