Lauren was hands down one of the camp’s best and most aggressive scoring guards. She is a listed PG, but make no mistake, she knows how to get buckets. She showed a propensity to be able to facilitate, but the strength of her game was putting up points. She has a quick first step and a burst that leaves defenders playing catch up. The combination of speed and body control allows her to play through contact while attacking and when she is finishing in the paint and/or at the rim. She has a nice feel for the game and a feel for getting her shot. Her IQ was one of the best at the camp, and her stock will only continue to grow as she stays in the lab. One thing I would like to see from Lauren, who will be playing at the next level one day, is a better understanding of defending in the ball-screen action.
Jazlynn Curtis (5’4/PG/’26/San Jose Prep)

Jazlynn is a tough and gritty PG who gets after you on defense and attacks you on offense. She was extremely difficult to contain in one-on-one situations, and with camp often turning into one-on-one play, her game thrived in the setting. She has a quick burst off the bounce that gives her an advantage when she is attacking the rim. Not many defenders could slow her down, and it took a combined effort by all five players on the court to present resistance. She played with the rock in her hands a good bit of the game, and even though she is a listed PG, she plays more like a shooting guard, yet standing at 5’4, she is a bit undersized for that position. With that being said, her scoring prowess cannot be ignored.
Nicole Penalver (6’3/C/’25/Miami Senior HS)
Nicole was an interior presence with good size and made her presence felt with her physical style of play. She was a force to reckon with, especially on the glass. She has a nice touch with her mid-range jumper and can play out in space. She understands her role and limitations well, as she did not try to do too much, which allowed her to be viewed as very productive. I would like to see Nicole continue developing her low block game with post moves and counter moves.

In a camp setting, it doesn’t take long to find out your alpha players, as many try to stay in the crowd. That was not the case with Vivian, as her leadership traits quickly came to the surface. She has good positional size and is a very physical player who was putting in work in the paint and on the low block. Her physical tools and potential make her a prospect that will continue garnering attention from the next level. She tries to dominate on each possession, and her combination of power and strength helps her to finish plays in the paint. She makes her presence felt the closer she gets to the basket. Viv was strong on the glass and vocal on defense. It was apparent that she had been in the presence of elite-level teaching and competition.

Senaia has good positional size and did a good job using her length to impact the 5v5 games. For a player with her size, she does a good job running the floor and setting solid ball screens. She played well out of the ball screens as she rolled hard to the rim, looking for the ball. She showed her ability to score in the mid-range, and when she got the ball in the paint, she was productive with her paint touches. She played with outstanding energy and flashed her potential throughout the weekend. She has an opportunity to increase her stock over the next two years as she looks to play at the next level.
Sara Lee Blair (6’5/F|C/’25/Dillard)

Sara plays as strong as she looks. She battles on the post and fights relentlessly for rebounds. She is a stout post player who clogs up space and leaves little room for anyone else to operate in the paint. There are some areas that Sara needs to continue being more aggressive in, as she clearly had the size advantage during 90% of the 5v5 games. I must say that frustration could have been a factor as she was not only doubled but tripled-teamed throughout the weekend. At times, she played a little reserved, as if she did not want to hurt the smaller guards who were digging from the perimeter. Sara has to grow to a place mentally where she is going to dominate whoever is on the court because she showed at times that when she gets going to the basket, no one could stand in her way. Sara is a physically imposing player who does not back down from anyone, and is very difficult to move out of the paint. I want to see Sara in competition when she is surrounded by guards who can make the post-entry pass and know how to play with a dominant big.
