Last basketball season, four of the top 20 three point shooters in the State were Freshman. Many were three point specialists and some of these players lead their respective teams in scoring and other categories. In this article we hilight the top Freshman three point shooters from last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='754374' first='Avery' last='Chatman'] averaged 29.4 points per game and led all Freshmen in the State of Florida. Chatman connected on an incredible 96 three point shots. She was only a few threes behind Emma Risch and Taliah Scott. The Freshman was in elite air with her shooting performance last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='243907' first='Ashley' last='Martinez'] knocked down 90 threes in 26 games and averaged 13.5 points and 3.5 threes per game. That's an average of 10.5 points from behind the arc per game. Martinez ranked 9 in the entire state of Florida and number 2 among Freshman.

[player_tooltip player_id='468627' first='Jasleen' last='Green'] connected on 78 threes last season and averaged 21.2 points per game over 29 games. I saw Green in Wesley Chapel and she was impressive in other facets of the game. She was special in the transition game and in the midrange. Green is versatile and takes what the defensive gives her. She was one of the best young players I covered over the travel season.

[player_tooltip player_id='221610' first='Karolina' last='Ramirez'] connected on 64 threes and averaged 17.3 points per game in her Freshman season. Ramirez did all of this in just 20 games, averaging over 3 threes p[er game. There were several games she knocked down 5 and shooting 4 in a game was a normal thing. In addition to shooting the long ball, Ramirez hit the boards and averaged over 4 rebounds per game from the guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='672689' first='Soleil' last='Smith'] is agressive three point shooter and knockig down 54 threes as a Freshman is an impressive feat. I saw her several times in Gainesville at Inside Exposure tournaments and Smith was impressive. She did a good job of getting to her spots and also opened up the inside for her athletic power forwards.

[player_tooltip player_id='243908' first='Ciara' last='Hayes'] is one of the top Freshman in the State and can score in a lot of ways. Hayes was a force behind the arc, knocking down 52 threes as a Freshman and averaging nearly 10 points per game. Hayes shot an incredible 50 percent from behind ghe arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='248679' first='Zoe' last='Corjay'] finished last high school season 52 threes in 24 games. She also averaged 11.1 points per game. Corjay was special during the live period. In Louisville at Run 4 Roses, she took her three point shooting to another level, connecting on 4 threes per game during one stretch. Corjay can also get in the paint and score in a variety of ways. Corjay prides herself on being a playmaker. She has the ability to see the court, thread the needle, and throw dimes.

[player_tooltip player_id='514673' first='Brandy' last='Whitfield'] connected on 50 threes and averaged and 15.2 points per game over a 28 game schedule. Whitfield can also score in the paint with drives and floaters. Defensively, she averaged nearly 4 steals per game.

Last basketball season, four of the top 20 three point shooters in the State were Freshman. Many were three point specialists and some of these players lead their respective teams in scoring and other categories. In this article we hilight the top Freshman three point shooters from last season.
