Last year’s tournament MVP, Megan Roberts Megan Roberts 5'7" | CG Newport | 2026 State WA is back to go for two in a row. Several other all tournament players will be back. Malu Touras Malu Touras 5'4" | CG Inglemoor | 2025 State WA , Payton Mills Payton Mills 6'2" | C Lynden | 2026 State WA , and Jillea Fox Jillea Fox 5'10" | SF Ferndale | 2026 State WA to name a few. I covered the whole tournament last year, boys and girls. It was a great way for me to see lots of players I hadn’t seen in person. That said, hers are some of the many players I look forward to watching.
Roxy is a point guard who displays all the tools to be a great one. She can shoot well with great shot mechanics. She is a savvy player and can create and score, while also seeing the floor. She has a good feel for the game, attacking the defense and picking her spots well. I expect her game to get better and better.
Highlights
Brooke is one of the best shooters in the state. As a freshman last season she had a big year. She has a quick release and plenty of range beyond the arc. She can play the point effectively as well. Her sophomore season will be one to watch. A 2nd Team all league pick in the 2A/3A league last season.
Highlights
A great showing at the state tournament for Stanwood last year. She had a great season as a freshman. She is a big-time sniper with one of the best looking jumpers around. She has great basketball instincts and plays smart.
I’m not going to lie, I like shooters and she is one of those. Woodinville will be loaded again this season. Last year, Hailey had a big role as a knock down three point threat. She played it well with multiple threes in a lot of games.
Another big-time shooter. She helped Prosser to a 3rd place finish in class 1A last season. Some of these players are ranked in the top 50 or so. I think seeing them in person could be a game changer.
