Mari Miller Mari Miller 5'10" | SG Rock Bridge | 2025 State MO (Rock Bridge): The 5’11” 2025 wing guard from Mid-Missouri was one of the top players in the camp as she displayed her smooth shooting stroke and nice feel for the game throughout the day. She was averaging close to 20 points in each game and she did it in a very efficient manner. She was consistently knocking down shots from 3-point range and pull up jumpers from the mid-range in a seemingly effortless manner. She was moving quickly to the open spots and she was shot ready on the catch with a quick release. There was never any wasted motion in her game.
Alanah Howard Alanah Howard 5'6" | PG Cardinal Ritter | 2026 State MO (Cardinal Ritter): A 5’6″ 2026 point guard who is very good at distributing the ball and playing excellent pressure defense. On this day, she was encouraged to be more assertive on offense and she displayed her scoring chops very well. She was slicing to the basket on dribble penetration and she also shot the 3-pointer well. She did all that while still being a pest on the defensive end.
Kierstyn Lawson Kierstyn Lawson 5'4" | PG California | 2025 State MO (California): A 5’4″ 2025 point guard from Mid-Missouri who exhibits excellent court vision and a high basketball IQ every time she steps on the court. She is always looking upcourt looking for the quick strike and she finds teammates with pinpoint passes from distance, which result in transition layups and 3-pointers. She was also knocking down her own share of 3-pointers as well. She also used her quickness to be disruptive on defense.
Zha Harris Zha Harris 5'6" | PG Lift For Life Academy | 2026 State MO (Lift for Life): The 5’6″ 2026 point guard was one of the more creative scorers that I watched in the event. She used her speed and get into the lane and she was able to score in traffic with a number of slight of hand moves and runners amongst the taller players inside. She is very effective in iso situations where she can break down a defender. She was also very unselfish where she was passing up her good shot to a teammate who had a better shot.
Giselle Gonzalez (Farmington, AR): A 5’2″ 2025 point guard with excellent speed and quickness to go along with a nice feel for the game. She was delivering a number of nifty passes to open teammates at a variety of angles. She was also changing speeds and breaking down defenders with different escape moves to score off the dribble. She was also playing off the ball and knocking down 3-pointers off the catch.
Brooke Rose Brooke Rose 5'9" | CG Kirkwood | 2026 State MO (Kirkwood): A 5’9″ 2026 guard who played a very solid offensive game. The young lefty was strong when she attacked off the dribble and she made good use of ball fakes to shake free of defenders. She can also knock down the open 3-pointers. She is also a versatile defender who was doing a good job guarding taller post players as she used her strength and moxie. She missed her freshman year with a knee injury, but she is playing well as she returns to form.
Peyton Whitney Peyton Whitney 6'0" | PF Valley Park | 2026 State MO (Valley Park): A 6’0″ 2026 forward who did a good job of catching the ball in traffic and finishing well of the glass. She keeps the ball high with good fundamentals. She finished well on the pick and roll. She is capable of controlling the boards when she really asserts herself. On one play, she contested a 3-pointer, and still got back to rebound the miss in the lane. She is very mobile as she runs the court very well.
Gabby Moore (Central): A 5’10” 2025 forward who was a very solid player inside. She did a good job of hanging around the basket and picking up offensive rebounds on the weak side for putbacks. She used her body well inside to create a little space for herself to operate. She was also getting on the floor and collecting loose balls and getting extra possessions for her team.
