Continue ReadingHighest Platform provided a unique experience for twelve determined basketball prospects today at the Cage Fieldhouse. The gym transformed into a testing facility for the first half of the event, inspired by the NBA combine. These young ladies pushed themselves past their limits and were able to collect data during their performance in various tests. Afterward, the girls competed individually and 1 v 1 in demanding mental and physical skills needed to succeed at the college level. The purpose, organization, intensity, and instruction by the event staff were off the charts. The final session of the four-hour event consisted of evenly dispersed teams playing one 5 v 5 game which is available exclusively on SnipBack. Coach Wiliam Jones said it best today, “Growth does not happen in the comfort zone” and I would personally suggest attending this event in the future if you are a prospect looking to grow. Read about some highlights from each participant today!

2024 Marionna Dixon is a CG came into this event ready to leave her mark and she did so in every phase today. Her power, speed, and strength shined during the combine hurdles and broad jump, which explains why she has a D1 offer for track. Mari was one of the better balanced stationary ball handlers during the cone touch scissor kick drill. She physically imposed herself offensively with lightning fast hands leading to deflections and steals on the ball; Mari finished a full speed transition spin dribble left hand layup that few high school guards can convert. Her next gear and two way play make Marionna a top 24 prospect and one of my favorite competitors to watch on the court.

She uses her strength to throw fantastic passes down the court and lead her teammates into scoring opportunities. Dakota put together an impressive day and showed how fierce of a competitor she is at all times on the court.

She is a post player who runs the court well and excels in putting herself in the right position to make plays on offense. Marissa does the gritty work of positioning herself for offensive rebounds and will not stop until she puts it through the hoop. Marissa can knock down the outside shot and demonstrated her excellent pivot moves in the low post today.
2025 PG Emilie Eritano Emilie Eritano 5’3″ | PG Lamphere | 2025 State MI is a prospect who performed well at David Barns and was one I felt particularly excited to see again here today. Emilie separated herself as the best ball handler on the court today during the stationary drills. She pounded the ball with precision, control, and speed. She finished strong contested shots at the rim during 1v1 play and used her ball control to create space for knockdown pull up jumpers. Emilie scores at all three levels and has phenomenal shooting release form. She led the floor in assists during 5 v5, using her advanced court vision and ball-handling to create high percentage shots for teammates. Emilie is a phenomenal prospect who put on an impressive display of ability today at Upside.

2026 Faith Zoldos is a prospect who catches the eyes of spectators whenever she hits the hardwood. Faith’s endless motor and breakaway speed make her an impressive athlete to watch play this great game. Her long legs and balance resulted in one of the top 4 cone shuffles and she put in one of the higher rep totals in her hurdles, quick bursts. Faith had many blocks during the 1v1 drills because her quickness, strides, and balance keep her in prime position to block shots without fouling. She made multiple three point shots today and her acceleration to the rim makes stopping her without fouling a challenge to say the least. Faith is going to leap forward this fall and we are thrilled to have her at our Top 250 Expo Sep. 23rd!
Madison White
Madison White
2026 CG Madison White is a prospect who continues to develop her game and grow due to her work ethic. She made the basketball look like a pinball during stationary ball slaps with how fast she changed hands and was continuously pushing herself to the max in every drill. Madison has speed to push the ball out in transition and will find open teammates for buckets. She stepped up as a playmaker during the 5 v 5 session and was working the boards for put backs and making assists. Madison had a ferocious block at the rim during the 5 v 5 session. Madison was one of the most vocal and supportive leaders on the court today and will be instrumental in Lapeer’s turnaround this winter.

Hannah Lozano Hannah Lozano SF Clio | 2024 State MI , wing from Clio put together a fantastic day today at Upside. She had one of the fastest and most controlled dribbles during the stationary ball handling sessions and her downhill tenacity to the rim stood out. During the full speed ball handling session she pushed the ball out, crossed over, and accelerated without losing pace or control. Her rebounding strength and high pointing the ball was atop the group, and her performance during the 5 v 5 session confirmed her position as one of the most impressive overall performers on the day. Hannah is an exceptional prospect who I am excited to see play at the Cage this fall.
Lexi Fry
Lexi Fry
2027 Lexi Fry showed off her skills and fit right in with the older prospects today at Upside. She had an impressive eurostep finish during the transition 1 v 1 segment that had me shouting a hearty “amen.” Lexi scores at all three levels and her ball handling security makes her a threat to make space and pull up for two at any time. She went on a tear scoring multiple times and pursuing the ball with rigor during 5 v 5. Lexi is a prospect I hope am excited to see with Clarkston at the Cage this fall.
Maddie Shaw
Maddie Shaw
2024 Maddie Shaw fits the mold of an all around prospect who can play ball at the next level. She handles the ball with strength, balance, and plays excellent on both sides of the court. She is a strong rebounder and puts herself in position to catch and finish plays in the post. Maddie defends on and off the ball with great awareness and creates turnovers. She can handle the ball like a guard and showed her confidence as a passer by delivering a one handed bounce pass through a defender for an assist in transition. Maddie is a prospect I am excited to watch play more at the Cage this fall with a powerhouse Frankenmuth team.
Sophie Schwanik
Sophie Schwanik
2027 Sophie Schwanik is a lengthy prospect who has a very pure and balanced pull up jumper. She was one of the better shooters during the pass and relocate drills and has the range to challenge defenders. Sophie has good ball handling control and can use her vision to find open teammates. She is a prospect I am eager to see more of with Groves in the future.
