Graycin Phillips Graycin Phillips 6'0" | SF Waunakee | 2026 State WI
Last summer was a significant one for Phillips. Her ability to get comfortable playing as a wing helped unlock what she could be in two seasons. Phillips is a 6-0 kid with all the length you could ever ask for. She seems comfortable taking open shots when the ball gets to her and could be someone who could hurt defenses if she gets into a rhythm shooting from behind the arc. I’m also intrigued by her potential defensively and what she could do switching in the Badger this season.
Megan Geason Megan Geason 5'11" | SF Oak Creek | 2025 State WI
The Oak Creek wing is a name to keep an eye on as a potential breakout candidate. I don’t know of many kids with the strength and athleticism that Geason has. I love watching her attack the basket because kids tend to get out of her way. If she can get out and run in transition, she’ll be a handful to deal with in the Southeast Conference. Keep her name in your memory bank. Geason could have a big 12 months.
Payton Morgan Payton Morgan 5'10" | SG Laconia | 2025 State WI
What Morgan did in July made me rethink my preconceived notions about what she brings to the floor. In her Legends team’s first game in Minnesota, they were not playing well, and Morgan took on ball handling and creative duties and did more than okay. When I look at Morgan now, I know she can shoot it, defend, and make the right play, but she can make a little magic off the dribble. Her offensive game is way more than her ability to stretch the floor, and that’s not even mentioning what I love about her defense.
Sophie Trimble Sophie Trimble 5'10" | SF Menomonee Falls | 2025 State WI
There are infinite uncomfortable situations that Trimble can put the opposing team in. Trimble’s ability to play with physicality is the most challenging aspect that teams game plan for. She’s not afraid to drive right through her defender. I like how she seeks contact on both ends of the floor, and what she does makes her teammates better because teams have to send help to slow her down offensively and make kids feel her on the defensive end.
