Maddy Hawes Maddy Hawes 5'11" | PF First Baptist | 2024 State SC will play down in the paint this season for the Lady Hurricanes.
Seaberry can score the rock from the backcourt and has no problems creating her own shot. Yannah really likes to find ways to score the ball if that means hitting a jumper, finishing at the rim with a nice up and under or simply breaking out in transition for a cheapie at times.
Brown is quick end to end on the floor. Dior is a pass first guard who really likes to get her teammates involved.
Moore just a freshman feels most comfortable running the show from out top. Gabby plays very mature for her age and really understands the game. She’s constantly in communication with her teammates on and off the floor. Gabby will attack the gaps and really touch the paint well at times. She can knockdown open shots without a doubt.
Rush is a nice outside threat from the perimeter and behind the three-point line. She has good length to be disruptive in the passing lanes and gives the Hurricanes a ball-handler in the backcourt at times. Ava will rebound the ball well especially outside of her area. She brings a great work ethic to the floor. She ran with Team Curry this past summer on the Grassroots Circuit.
Hawes is a left-handed post player who likes to play with her back to the basket. Maddy will carve oust space down low and really shows to have a nice set of hands by collecting everything thrown in her direction.
Palmetto Christian Academy (Mount Pleasant) – The Lady Fighting Eagles will rely on Cokey Suddeth Cokey Suddeth 6'0" | SF Palmetto Christian Academy | 2025 State SC to lead the way this season in SCISA Class 3A. Suddeth has really developed her game to the perimeter more this past season especially on the Grassroots Circuit. Cokey excels on the volleyball and basketball court for Palmetto Christian Academy.
Cokey moves very well without the ball in her hands and always remains active on the floor. She has extended her game to the three-point line and seems to be a very liable threat from the perimeter now. She went over 1,000 career points last season for the Lady Fighting Eagles. Who will step up and help her on this roster this coming season?
Porter Gaud – The Lady Cyclones have some solid players back to lead the way for Head Coach Kevin Ziman. Leah Creaturo Leah Creaturo 5'9" | PF Porter Gaud | 2024 State SC , Perry Chambers Perry Chambers 6'3" | C Porter Gaud | 2025 State SC and Grayson Hariri Grayson Hariri 5'8" | SG Porter Gaud | 2025 State SC all return this season. Creaturo and Chambers hold down the middle for the Lady Cyclones. Creaturo will look to rebound on both ends of the floor and simply contest shots on the defensive end.
Chambers is a long and rangy athlete who likes to play face-up to the basket. Perry can knockdown the short corner jumpers and plays very comfortable as a pick and pop stretch forward.
Hariri brings some toughness to the floor with her willingness to jump on the deck and play very blue-collar basketball at times. Grayson is willing to defend on the ball and take a charge from time to time. She will manufacture points and opportunities on just hustle alone each night.
