Jamya has good positional size and was extremely tough off the bounce. She was one of the toughest at the guard position in iso situations. Few were able to slow her down as she lived in the paint off the bounce. It was evident that her game was on a different level than many, and it was because of her experience as a senior. She was very comfortable and confident in making plays with the rock in her hands, and from her play, she looks poised to be a key piece to her squad’s upcoming season.

Once Ryan got going, it was all but over for defenders. It took her a minute to get adjusted to the style of play that was taking place at camp, and once she did, she put her entire bag on display. She has a good physical profile, which she uses when slashing her way to the rim as she often initiates contact, putting defenders at a disadvantage. Ryan is not the most explosive, but she plays very physically yet has a nice touch from behind the arc. Ryan is a young bucket-getter and really improved her stock at camp.

One of the smoothest backcourt prospects at camp was Micah. She is a talented and highly skilled guard who can play on and off the ball. She balances scoring and facilitating and is impactful when having to do either. Her game is far from complete, but she is a creative playmaker who should have interest from the next level coming her way over the next two years. Micah’s cerebral approach and feel for the game were two things that separated her from the rest of the campers. I am looking forward to watching her compete this upcoming season.
Anne Thurman (5’8/G/’27/Brookhaven Academy {MS})

The strength of Anne’s game is that she can light it from deep. She is a lethal three-point shooter who keeps the floor space and makes it very hard for defenders to help off her. She shoots the trey ball with efficiency, whether off the bounce or in catch-and-shoot situations. Her handles are okay and need continued focus, but she showed that she could handle the rock enough to be able to initiate offense. She is a freshman, that can help with her ability to shoot the trey.

Ella is a playmaker who did a good job creating for herself and her teammates. She shot the ball well from deep, showed really good passing skills, and played with a good understanding of the game. I loved her creative passing talent as she showed the ability to make elite-level passes. This is something that I was very impressed with, as the last camp I attended had some elite-level prospects who struggled with their passing skills. Ella has good positional size, is very smart and skilled on the perimeter, and did a good job being a player who contributed across the stat sheet.
