Karns Lady Beavers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Are you ready for the Lady Beavers this year? I know a few teams that will definitely fear the Dam! Talk about a squad that is returning ALL FIVE starters. The young team led Karns last year to an 18-11 record. I expect them to do even more damage this year!&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I've been able to watch many Karns games over the years. I watched most of these kids in middle school and to witness them excelling in the game they love is great to see! Keep working ladies!!&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I don't know how many sets of twins play high school basketball but I know there is a set that is going to make sure everyone at Karns remembers their names. Yes, I am talking about Reese &amp; [player_tooltip player_id='810602' first='Rylee' last='Roberts']! Two really good athletes with different playing styles. This duo is a fun pair to watch!&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='810646' first='Reese' last='Roberts'] is the ball handler that can easily run the point or play at the shooting guard position. Last year her averages were right at 15 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals per game! Reese had a really solid sophomore season. She definitely will have a huge junior season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='810602' first='Rylee' last='Roberts'] averaged right at 13 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals per game. I'm sure there is plenty of twin competition in the Roberts household! An entire family full of athletes! The future for Rylee and Reese is extremely bright! The household names will soon be known all over the state; if they aren't already!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='419791' first='Abby' last='Harris'] provides a good presence down low. The senior leadership that she will provide will definitely be a big help to her team! Harris committed to Emory &amp; Henry to run track &amp; field! There is no doubt that she can jump most out of the gym!&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='245386' first='Madison' last='Perrin'] is another athletic guard that is due a huge senior season. The long, lengthy wing will be a huge part of the success for Karns this year! Perrin had a great summer of basketball &amp; I'm sure that will translate into this coming school season! This one can definitely get hot from the 3 point line fast!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lauren Martin is a guard that provides more to her team than what a stat sheet will ever show. Plays great defense with a non-stop motor. Never stops putting her body on the line for her team. The junior guard will definitely be a huge asset for the success of the team! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I only named 5 of the players in this article. Every single player that was or was not mentioned plays a significant part in their team's success. Keep up the hard work ladies and I can't wait to see another winning season!!
