One more time, let me leave you with two very important things, TALENT IS EVERYWHERE and I LOVE PROGRESSION ON THE COURT. Well, THREE things, NIGHT NIGHT!
Amyah Hall Amyah Hall 6'4" | C Legacy SSS | 2026 State TX (2026)
Hall continues to show progression on the court so let me start with her being over “the magic number” which is 6’0, which is a MAJOR next-level attraction. She’s also “long and athletic” and when you factor in her being under control and learning how to let the game come to her, I’m looking forward to the finished product as she’s creating havoc inside the paint right now. She goes after everything off the rim, she has good timing to block shots, and she dives for loose balls on the floor. What I really enjoyed even more was her “hands and footwork” in the paint as well as her finishing with either hand
Kennedy Farrell (2026)
Farrell did a nice job setting the defender up to attack the basket and her crossover in transition was really nice as she left the defender cemented to the court a few times. She also scored off the dribble in the set, nice body control on her finishes after contact but that wasn’t all. She did a good job of not only creating her shot but knocking it down while being defended
Rachael Roberts Rachael Roberts 5'8" | SG The Woodlands | 2027 State TX (2027)
Roberts is going to make an impact immediately in high school because of the right fit and when you can score multiple ways as she can, especially against older players, expect her to put up numbers off the top. She can drop it from mid to long-range, scores off the dribble, attacks, and finishes with either hand yet her ballhandling and court vision under pressure have gotten even better
Emily Roman (2027)
Roman has her deceptive first step down to a science and since she understands how to use it to not only attack the basket and finish, she also uses it to create spacing and drop the jumper in the set. Her mid to long-range is also solid, she even drops the “stop and pop” in transition yet let me back to the off-the-dribble stuff. Her body control has gotten better, so has her taking the lick and finishing
Bailey Burns Bailey Burns 6'0" | SF Lake Creek | 2027 State TX (2027)
Burns gets the cover because she’s continuously showing a variety of things that the defender will have to think about while covering her. Yes, she can shoot the 3, I said she needed to score off the dribble and use her size against smaller guards a while back, and she’s doing that yet her court vision both off the dribble as well as in transition has gotten better. She dropped the midrange, hit the boards on both ends and defended
Mackenzie Medellin (2026)
Medellin did a very good job applying “on the ball” pressure baseline to baseline yet she kept that same energy in the halfcourt to help create turnovers which led to scoring opportunities for her team. She also did a good job of playing the passing lane and not handling the ball after the steal but seeing the floor. She attacked the basket strongly, showed she could drop it pulling up from mid to long-range
Audrina Silva (2026)
Silva let me know before the event she wasn’t in basketball shape yet due to that other sport with the net however I never would have known. First of all, she is long and athletic, I failed to mention earlier that is the base so what are her intangibles? Her defense both in the paint as well as outside of it is nice, she plays the passing lane and scored after the steal. She scored off the dribble and she rebounded on both ends of the court
