Hall, at 6’4, was one of the most sought-after bigs in the area, and her going from basically a back-to-the-basket decoy in those growing years when I caught her in middle school, she has turned into a legitimate threat inside the paint, on both ends. Yeah, her interior defense looked good, yet I was more impressed with her being able to defend outside the paint, and yes, she finished around the basket, but her facing the basket to score has jumped

#89 up from #114 Hall has gradually shown “on the court” progresson since I caught her back in middle school when several club coaches were saying how good they could make her yet she has shown what I always say, “you will make yourself by putting in the work” and she has done just that. Here’s the kicker, her upside is still high see evaluations here

Hall is TALL, way above that magic number, plus she’s also “long and athletic” but watching her do things more fluidly, like reacting on defense well enough to guard her man strongly outside the paint. She blocked shots, rebounded on both ends, and finished strongly after contact inside the paint

Hall has elevated her game each season since I caught her I guess around 4 years ago. She stands over “the magic number” which is 6’0 and the magic doesn’t stop there as she’s going AFTA the ball off the rim, on both ends and finishing stronger around the basket. She’s also defending both in and outside the paint, she’s even facing the basket to score yet her timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots has gotten better

Hall had me write “she may not be related to Arsenio or Carnegie but she has the potential to be a star” many years ago and as I waited for the game to come together, she has taken it up a notch every season so when you factor in her having a college-ready frame in the 7th grade and watching her do things instinctively on the court, coupled with standing above “the magic number” common should even show the novice evaluator what was coming. Her defense was always good inside the paint yet she’s done a good job stepping out of it and guarding her man. She’s also going after rebounds, as well as showing she can score around the basket consistently. She has very good upside and she’ll continue to rise
