Prior to the game I chatted with the score table and told them my prediction of exactly who the impact player of the game would be for the Eagles: #7. She started off the game draining a wing 3 and hit many 3 pointers throughout the contest. What caught my attention was her downhill speed against athletic defenders. She set up the defender with a hesitation and then blew by her to the rim. Mia also blocked shots and vocally commanded the defense. She finished contested putbacks and shots inside the paint. With no subs, she still did not take plays off and battled all game. She made a baseline pass to an open teammate, set off ball screens for cutters, and was constantly earning inside position for rebounds. #13 got big on seals in the post and she took an offensive rebound coast to coast to the rim. She was a huge part of earning a victory for Flushing on Sunday. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#22 SG/Wing from Flint Kearsley is an athletic prospect who forced turnovers and put the burners on to take those steals all the way and finish at the rim. She used effective pushout dribbles and is someone who stands out as "athletic". #22 has the range to hit 3-pointers outside and led her team to victory on Sunday. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#20 SG from Croswell-Lexington drained a corner 3 off the catch and a transition corner 3 off the hop.
