was an effective scorer for Frankenmuth Saturday. She hit an impressive fadeaway jumper, finished with a burst at the rim, and drilled multiple 3’s from around the arc. Mia’s pull up game was on and her shooting made matching up a challenge for opponents.

from Frankenmuth showed me exactly why she is playing ball for Ferris State next season. Prior to the game I chatted with the score table and told them my prediction of exactly who the impact player of the game would be for the Eagles: #7. She started off the game draining a wing 3 and hit many 3 pointers throughout the contest. What caught my attention was her downhill speed against athletic defenders. She set up the defender with a hesitation and then blew by her to the rim. Mia also blocked shots and vocally commanded the defense. Mia is an all around solid prospect who will be an exceptional Bulldog next year.

Mia had the coaches smiling ear to ear as she shined on the day as one of two 2024 commits at the camp. She knocked down shot after shot and won the 1v1 competition. She is going to be a welcome addition to the Bulldogs next season.

McLaughlin is a gamechanger in the backcourt. Goodrich will have to be very wary of her ability to both create and distribute the ball. McLaughlin is a versatile guard that can handle like a point as well as get buckets as a high level wing. Her basketball IQ might be her biggest strength of all.

Pressure, Pressure, Pressure. Mia is a kid that puts pressure on defenses with her relentless drives and quick first step. She is also a kid that makes ball handlers want to cry as she is a very physical lead guard that has quick hands. She picks up a ton of steals and deflections. Props to her for sealing a victory at the line.

McLaughlin is another player that could very easily be in the top 100. She’s underrated as an overall athlete and is one of the premier playmakers in the state.
