, has as chance to win state.

Kadie Bremer
Kadie Bremer
Bremer is, for my money, the perhaps the best pure PG prospect in the ’28 class (she’s had at least one D1 program reach out to her!). She’s a legit 3 level scorer that has inside-the-gym range. She’s just beginning to learn how to use the pick and roll game, and I actually think that her and Garner would make a terrific tandem.
Bremer is an unselfish passer with very nice court vision. The ball doesn’t stick in her hands too much, and at times she knows the correct play is to just swing the ball. She’s the type of kid that makes those around her better, and has already played in a bunch of big games in her young career.
Defensively, you know you can put Bremer on the other teams best guard and Bremer can take her out of the game. Terrific defense on and off the ball.

Garner is the wild card for this team. Garner has all the tools to be a lanky, long, athletic finisher around the rim. She’s naturally at her best when she can catch the ball and face up before she attacks, but at times she’s used as a back-to-the-basket big. She’s an athletic monster that is a terror on the glass when her motor is high. A dominant rebounder, blocks shots, jumps in passing lanes–great length and instincts.
Every team hope to win a state championship needs at least two high level scorers. Ronique gives Alcoa that possibility. Still refining her skill set as a scorer, has all the potential in the world.

Harper Stinnett
Harper Stinnett
I watched Stinnett (7th grade) play in the State Final 4 last season, and I couldn’t believe when a friend told me she was only a 6th grader. She handled the pressure of the Cleveland MS press, and even made them pay for it at times. I high level ball handler that plays with a really nice understanding of the game. She’s a dynamic shotmaker–from all 3 levels all ready (she’s one of the best ’29 guards in the state).
I believe modern basketball is all abound having a few guards that can run the show, make plays as scorers and passers, and having a couple dynamic wings that can fill a role. With Stinnett and Bremer, Alcoa will always have a top notch PG/ball handler on the floor. They will always have two high level scorers and shooters. I really like this duo.
Alcoa has a great chance at returning back to the state championship game! With their top 3 (Bremer, Garner, and Stinnett), that’s about as good a top 3 as you will find. Really like this group!
