Swearingen was an All-State selection last year and a conference POY. She can get hot from beyond the arc quickly. A high level shooter who earned most of her 17.8 PPG from that range. A gamer who plays hard from the guard spot. She’s the leader of her team and sets the tone of both ends of the floor. An excellent player out of Nevada.
Clayton is the top returning player to Vashon this season. She averaged 16.1 PPG last season and has the skills to lead them on a deep playoff run. She made 67 threes on the season at a 42.9% clip. A dynamic scorer off the bounce and someone who can create instant offense. Clayton is a proven winner and one of the top guards in the state.
Billington has helped lead Moberly to new heights. She can get to her spots on demand. A strong three level scorer who has touch from both short and long range. She does a little bit of everything on the floor. A strong passer and rebounder. She has complete game. The Murray State commit gets another chance to win at state this season.
We expect to see Robertson reach new heights this season. She was an All-State and All-Conference player last season and one of the toughest players to scout for in the state. She’s comfortable handling the rock and breaking down the defense. Capable of getting downhill at any time. Robertson can do it all for Fatima.
Simmons simply gets it done for Benton. She was the catalyst to a deep playoff run and offers a lot of scoring variety from the post. Her 11 PPG and 6 RPG were consistent on a night to night basis. Simmons also shot 43% from three. Look for her to take a huge leap entering her junior season. One of the best in 2025.
