It’s time for Jordyn to show what she’s got as it is her senior season. She is their unquestioned leader and ir has been fun watching her game grow over the past few years. Her tenacious defense stood out on Saturday with ball pressure and athleticism that was unmatched. Her game has grown and her vocal leadership continues to grow. She has a good step to the rim with the ability to score. (feature photo above)
Have you ever seen those point guards who aren’t flashy, but they always seem to get the job done. That is Katie as the senior is ready to close out her career with her best season yet. She is a threat at both ends of the court, she is silent but deadly with her outside game and can move well to the rim. Great handles and plays under control. She is unselfish to the point where I would like to see her get more shots up but she plays within theur offense. Can get her teammates involves. I feel she is very underrated…well, not by us!
This was the first time I have seen her and I walked away impressed with her poise for only being a sophomore. She is a very steady player who is able to create scoring chances for her team. Elevates well and can score midrange. Defensviely she can guard multiple positions and her game will just keep getting better.
Highlights
Abbey Overfield
Abbey Overfield
Triad looked much improved this season and a lot of that is due to the work of Abbey. She is a fast player with a good crossover and a solid defender. She does a good job with back side steals and turns them into layups. Also has a good perimeter game.
Avery Minteer
Avery Minteer
Avery is known as a solid perimeter shooter with good range. She has a good basketball IQ and has the ability to get to the rim when they give it to her and she can finish. Her game is improved and I look for a productive season from her this year.
Day’veona Boynton

I really loved this kids game! She is so athletic and can play physical when needed. She also has good court sense with the knowledge of where she needs to be. Able to get to the boards and can jump out of the gym, making her a valuable rebounder. Able to seal her opponent well and can back down at the rim. Also love her range!
Claire Mason
Claire Mason
I think she is ready for a breakout season at Madison Plains. Her game has really improved from last year, super athletic and can make things happen for her team. Also a volleyball player, she possesses good lateral quickness with active hands to force turnovers and give them scoring chances.
