SubscribeChloe Hocker- Hocker is an athletic guard that has raw talent. She’s developed her jumper over the summer and like her older sister Clara, she can knock it down a little bit as well. Where Chloe thrives at the most is when she gets to get out and run. She has tons of potential because of her ability to apply ball pressure and force turnovers then convert those into fast break lay ups. The Crusaders have a X factor with her because of what she can bring on a consistent basis.
Clara Hocker- Clara the Kapaun guard can flat out shoot the ball! When her feet are set and you’re late to contest it is almost automatic. She has a nice one-motion form starting from her shooting pocket and finishing her release at the highest point. She has an excellent follow-through with a great shooting touch whenever she is pulling the trigger. When she adds shooting it off the bounce to her game she will be ready for the next level.
Chelsea Del Muro- We love Chelsea’s size as a guard because of the mismatches she will create. The advantages she has, most don’t have like the ability to shoot the jumper right over the defense. She also has the same ability to finish over people keeping the ball up high when she’s doing one of her finishes at the rim. To go along with her size she has a long wingspan that can cause disruptions on the defensive end. She has the ability to play the passing lane and collect steals as well as be a great rebounding guard.
Lynnleigh Gobble- Lynnleigh the lefty, if she doesn’t do anything she will catch and shoot it. Gobble, the guard for the homeschooled Wichita defenders has evolved her game and become a more consistent and confident shooter. She has a nice quick release that allows her to get her shot off whenever she needs to. Lynnleigh is expected to have a big year this year for her team.
Kenzie Edwards- Kenzie, the northwest guard stood out last year for her shooting but she provides so much offense for this Grizzlies team. With her small stature, she can provide multiple looks on offense with her floaters and her playmaking ability. Her passing is so crucial and so underrated but it opens the floor for this Grizzlies team. She seems always to make the right pass or the extra pass and one of our favorite highlights is her 2 hand outlet pass full court to lead into a layup. It’s plays like that; that will win you basketball games.
