No. 1: Addy Platt Addy Platt 5'11" | SG Pope John | 2026 State NJ – Pope John (No. 2 overall)
Platt is a consensus top-2 in the 2026 class, and is well-deserving of that ranking. While listed as a shooting guard, she’s simply so much more on the floor for Pope John and she showed it last season. Her 5-11 frame is perfect for long-range shooting, getting that extra inch or two above defenders on her shots, but it’s that much more important down low, where she averaged three blocks a game as a freshman. A double-double average with 3+ steals, blocks and assists a game isn’t too shabby for a first season.
No. 2: Jada Lynch Jada Lynch 5'11" | SG St. Rose | 2026 State NJ – St. Rose (No. 5 overall)
Lynch showcased her scoring ability in bulk with St. Rose last season, an impressive offensive package that includes stellar perimeter shooting and adequately dominant interior play. She was a go-to scorer on one of the top teams in New Jersey coming out of the gates and returns to the lineup this season as the top three-point shooter on the team. We’re incredibly impressed by her poise and smart play as a freshman and that should only grow with time and experience.
No. 3: Katie Liggio Katie Liggio 5'9" | SG Red Bank Catholic | 2026 State NJ – Red Bank Catholic (No. 10 overall)
From one sharp-shooter to another, we head to one half of the Liggio twins, a sophomore duo ready to take over New Jersey. Katie put up some impressive numbers as a freshman, showcasing that great shooting touch of hers. She was just one three-pointer short of teammate Casey Prior for the team lead, but averaging roughly 1.5 threes a game plays at the high school level. Really impressive passer, great court vision, able to score at all three levels, and her game is still evolving.
No. 4: Jayah Curtis Jayah Curtis 5'9" | SG Montclair Immaculate | 2026 State NJ – Montclair Immaculate (No. 12 overall)
High school basketball fans didn’t see much of Curtis on the floor as a freshman for Montclair Immaculate, patiently waiting her turn for a chance at the starting lineup, and that could very well happen as a sophomore. What she’s done on the AAU circuit, however, is what has propelled her into a top-15 spot on this list, balling out for Team Sharp while garnering the interest of multiple Division I schools. She has great court speed and physicality for a guard, and she knows when and where to turn the dial up.
No. 5: Labreya Lewis Labreya Lewis 5'6" | SG Winslow Township | 2026 State NJ – Winslow Township (No. 17 overall)
Winslow found a few studs from the 2026 class, highlighted most by Lewis, the leading three-point shooter and second-leading scorer last season. She brings that production back with her for her sophomore year, giving the Eagles a potential three-headed monster to compete in the Olympic Conference. Lewis is getting invites to Division I camps and plenty of exposure playing in one of the toughest conferences in New Jersey. She’s a top-3 sophomore in South Jersey for a reason and is one of the best pure scorers in the region.
