Marti Rebman Marti Rebman 5'8" | CG Edgerton | 2026 State WI
Last season, Rebman was a massive piece in the Crimson Tide’s upset win over McFarland at home. This season, she’s been a kid who’s been a difficult kid to defend because of all the smaller guards at Edgerton. With kids like Caludia Jenny, do you want to allow your better defenders to chase her around the perimeter, or would you have them guarding a more physical guard like Rebman? Edgerton has been score by committee team, and sometimes Rebman gets to be that main option because the other team doesn’t have the personnel to handle her.
TPS gave Galica some sparse minutes last season, but when I saw her play, I was impressed by what she did. I’ve always been impressed by what she can do defensively, but she’s looked like a more confident and aggressive offensive player this season. Galica is also a kid who can score from all three levels, which adds a layer to TPS that they didn’t get last season. They have kids who can get to the rim, shoot from the perimeter, and create off the dribble, but Galica can do all three, which could turn wins into losses for TPS.
I haven’t talked much about Litza because I only saw her a few times this past summer, but she’s been excellent for a Wauwatosa East who could win Sectional Four in D2 this season. She’s a kid who makes everything basketball-adjacent look easy. Litza can put the ball in the basket anytime or anywhere, and when she wants to pass it, she can fit passes into windows that few even attempt. She may not be the most physically imposing kid in the Greater Metro Conference, but not many kids can do what she does in that conference either.
Maddie Chabot Maddie Chabot 6'0" | PF Pewaukee | 2026 State WI
Chabot had a solid freshman season for Highland Park down in Illinois. After last season, her family moved up to Pewaukee, and she added something that Pewaukee hasn’t had since Megan Zielsdorf graduated. A 6-footer that can defend some of the talented kids with size who can play with their back to the basket. She’s played crucial spot minutes in games like the one the Pirates won against Notre Dame to open their season. As she acclimates to everyone around her, she’ll give the Pirates more and more.
