Ardrey Kell
Molly Burns was doing a nice job using hesitation moves to get by her opponents for an open look at the basket. She was all over the court grabbing rebounds including offensive boards using them for second chance points. She opens up the court for her teammates, too, being able to make the wrap around pass to the block. She moves well without the ball sliding around the perimeter to show off her shot from deep hitting several throughout the game on top of her fast break points hustling up the court.
Highlights
Skyler Fleck did a nice job attacking the paint drawing defenders and making the nice dish to her teammates underneath the basket. She showed off her range shooting the ball from deep. She scored three the old fashioned way, too, attacking the basket and making it count through contact. Her defensive stop in the fourth quarter was crucial grabbing the ball away from her opponent trying to get to the rim.

Bryson McCoy Bryson McCoy 6’0″ | PF Ardrey Kell | 2025 NC was constantly moving and sealing off her opponents looking for the entry pass. She seemed to be consistently left open sneaking behind her opponents waiting for the right pass to get her the ball and score off the glass. She had a tough bucket in the fourth quarter backing her defender down and turning to score. She continued to get open off in bounds plays sneaking away from her opponents. She even made a nice pass to her cutting teammate from the top of the key hitting her in stride to take the lead again.
Karly Glahn was showing how defense can turn into offense grabbing steals and finding her teammates flashing up the court for two fast break points. She hit a much needed deep shot in the fourth quarter giving some life to her team to help close the gap. She knows how to attack the gaps and get to the rim making the defense collapse around her.
Autumn Washington was using her length to cause some problems on defense. She’s so disruptive causing turnovers with ease. Her length is an asset as she is certain to block some shots in each game. She did a nice job finding the open space, catching the pass, and showing off her jumper. She found herself inside, too, battling for rebounds. Her ability to use some power dribbles on the block shows how versatile she is. She had a nice step back jumper, too.

Olivia Burke was moving so well with and without the ball creating plays for herself and her teammates getting the open look or creating her own space. She hustles up the court being ready for the pass on fast breaks, and she’s tough on defense making sure her opponents have to work to get to the basket. She knows exactly how to touch the ball off the backboard banking it in after her ball fakes to the hoop.

Anna Scaldara Anna Scaldara 6’0″ | PF Porter Ridge | 2024 NC was dominant on the offensive boards fueling a comeback in the third quarter scoring off of these second chances. She didn’t back down from contact either making old fashioned three point plays. She rebounded well on the other end ending the possession for her opponents, and she was a force in the paint not letting anyone have easy buckets.
Sidney Blackwell does all of the little things for her team like crashing the boards and attacking the basket creating space for herself or her teammates. She is tough making her cuts forcing her defenders to shift, and she makes nice adjustments knowing how to make the ball go through the hoop.
Miley Malcolm does a nice job handling the ball and making the perfect pass to her teammates hitting them in stride as they cut to the hoop. She’s a scoring point guard for sure showing off her range around the arc. While her passes were sharp inside the perimeter, she knew how to make her own plays using her long legs to get around her opponents and battle contact for some points. She can block shots, too.
Ashanti Taylor is already an impressive athlete with her court vision. She sees the floor well knowing where to cut to the hoop waiting for the pass, and she moves fluidly with the ball attacking the paint scoring off floaters. She does a nice job finding the opening on the perimeter hitting her shot from deep. Her adjustments with the ball being able to hit the wrap around pass to the block is fun to watch.
