Another athlete that makes playing the game look easy. She has even taken on the nickname “certified bucket getter”. Her versatility and length make her game even more dominate at the guard position. She can score at will, rebound at a high level, make plays for her teammates, and create steals on the defensive end.

A P4 prospect that can do it all. Ashanti has great size on the perimeter and tremendous skill set which is two things that will have her on many college coaches’ radars. She put up impressive numbers this year and broke Porter Ridge all-time scoring record. With a year left in high school she will be one of the top scorers ever from Union County. Her scoring prowess has landed her as a Third Team All-State Team performer. Looking forward to watching her one more year to see what all this young lady accomplishes.

Ashanti Taylor Ashanti Taylor 6'0" | CG/SF State NC has been a special athlete for years now, and she is poised to keep leading her team in the playoffs.  She has a nice finesse handling the ball getting by her opponents on her way to some points at the rim, and she can pull up quickly to knock down her shot.  Her shot from deep is fun to watch, and she knows how to anticipate what her opponents are going to do disrupting their plans while she’s playing defense.

A versatile dynamic guard who can make play after play on both ends of the floor. Her quickness and length allow her to be a dominant force on defense. Her good defense allows her to get a lot of easy transition buckets. Offensively, Ashanti is a savvy guard that can score at all three levels. Her strength allows her to get to the rack and finish through contact. She also has a nice pull up jumper and can shoot it well beyond the arc.

But Taylor isn’t just the defender you want — she’s the offensive spark you need. She attacks the rim with strength and efficiency, finishes through contact, and complements her driving ability with a reliable mid-range jumper and confident range from beyond the arc.

Ashanti Taylor Ashanti Taylor 6'0" | CG/SF State NC is tough on both ends of the court.  She’s aggressive handling the ball pushing the tempo and taking it head on against her defenders.  She knows how to draw her opponents towards her to make the dish to her teammates.  It’s fun to watch how much pressure and attention she draws on the court but still manages to get an easy layup doing the work to get to the rim and making the open shot.  She even crashes the boards going after rebounds trying to extend offensive plays for her team.

Ashanti Taylor Ashanti Taylor 6'0" | CG/SF State NC has been making a splash with her grassroots team already playing some tough older competition.  She knows how to execute on many levels using her ball handling to get by her opponents and make a play.  She makes nice adjustments getting the ball to her teammates or finishing at the rim, whichever is the best decision in the moment.

Ashanti Taylor Ashanti Taylor 6'0" | CG/SF State NC was certainly showing off her special talents on the court.  She is an exceptional ball handler getting to the rim making the right play whether she’s finishing herself or making the pass.  She is constantly moving on the court finding the opening and keeping the defense on their toes as they have to protect the perimeter and the drive to the rim with the ball in her hands.

Ashanti Taylor Ashanti Taylor 6'0" | CG/SF State NC is an exceptional sophomore scoring in bunches this season. She is averaging over 37 points per night. Each game, Taylor is finishing over 47% of her shots, 33% of her 3-pointers, and getting to the foul line over 9 times per game. She is also grabbing 8 rebounds, forcing 6 steals, and passing for 3 assists. Taylor is an elite player who is fun to watch on the court.

Taylor has an edge on the basketball court. She wants to win and she will do whatever it takes to win. She is a fabulous athlete who can slice through any defense on her way to the rim. Taylor can also draw multiple defenders and pass to an open teammate. Taylor can attack the rim with power, she can score with touch, and she has a nice midrange game. A year ago, she scored over 18 points, collected over 7 rebounds, and passed for over 4 assists a night for Porter Ridge.
