Riley scored a career high 42 points on Tuesday. She buried 5 three pointers and forced key turnovers with her ball pressure as the spear in Brandon’s full court pressure. One of her key plays was working for an offensive rebound off of a free throw miss and then making both free throws to give Brandon the late lead.

Jayla Holiday Jayla Holiday 6'0" | C Lapeer | 2026 State MI
Jayla Holiday Jayla Holiday 6’0″ | C Lapeer | 2026 State MI (2026) scored a career high 26 points on 12 field goals Tuesday for the Bolts. She was an unstoppable finisher, offensive/defensive rebounder, and effective sealer in the low post. Jayla battled for 12 rebounds including 4 on the offensive end. She converted difficult shots through contact inside and used pivots/drop steps to score. Jayla shot an impressive 60% from the floor. Her inside defensive presence protected the rim and forced Brandon to shoot the ball from outside.
Jordyn played excellent basketball on both ends for the Oilers Tuesday. She converted a baseline drive with her right hand in traffic and drilled a corner three off of a double screen. Jordyn was lethal from beyond the arc, hitting multiple 3’s from the wing. She showed toughness by hitting the floor for a rebound, and the defensive prowess to steal a pass in transition. Jordyn will be a key player for Mount Pleasant this winter.
Karie Keefer Karie Keefer 5’8″ | PG Freeland | 2025 State MI had an impressive performance for Freeland Tuesday, and was essential to the team’s victory. She had a wing 3 off the catch, then used a downhill drive to split multiple defenders, ending with an and one layup. Karie hit another deep wing 3 off the catch, and used a back cut to finish a layup full speed. She is an impressive two way guard for the Falcons.

Piper Risdon Piper Risdon 5’11” | PF Lowell | 2024 State MI showed Monday exactly why she is a D1 college basketball player in a tough matchup with Muskegon. Piper had 12 points in the first half. She blocked a shot at the buzzer, split the defense for a layup, and hit a top of the key 3, Piper finished with a right handed scoop layup at the rim cutting right through the defense. Piper had a huge game on both ends for Lowell to help the team earn a victory.
