Grind Session – Phoenix

She displayed excellent court vision and change of pace while always having her head up. She also showed extended range on her three ball. Could be in for a boost in the next rankings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='850046' first='Sydney' last='Fenn']</strong> [program_tooltip program_id='713512' first='AZ' last='Compass'] </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A prototypical stretch forward, Fenn let it fly with confidence. She has a quick release on her perimeter shot and gets it off easily even against taller players. She also finished well on the break with either hand. <br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='558894' first='Aiyanna' last='Perkins'] [program_tooltip program_id='713210' first='Bella' last='Vista Prep']</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Perkins played with instincts that you just can't teach. Her perimeter shot was on, and she was getting shots from all over. She showed her toughness and wasn't willing to back down even when she had to guard bigger players. There are not many players better than her in the class.<br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='588554' first='Emma' last='Slack'] <strong>Dream City Christian</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Emma came out on fire from the perimeter in one of the games. She tied the record for made threes in a game with 9. She has a quick release and like most good shooters she runs right to her spots. She moved well without the ball in order to get open. <br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='588549' first='Adeang' last='Ring'] [program_tooltip program_id='713210' first='Bella' last='Vista Prep']</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ring showed her inside/out game over the weekend. She keeps the ball high when in the paint and shot it well from the perimeter. She averaged double digit rebounds over the weekend and blocked shots as well. Her wingspan is hard to get around as she made it difficult for opposing players to get good looks in the paint. <br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='216733' first='Gianna' last='Whiteside'] [program_tooltip program_id='713512' first='AZ' last='Compass']</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Whiteside is a tough forward who knows where she can get her buckets. She called for the ball aggressively as she was a load to handle in the paint. She displayed a nice touch around the rim and a variety of moves to get her shots off while drawing contact. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
