Teams from across the southeast came to compete against one another in an opportunity to get better in the middle of their high school seasons. Let’s take a look at some of the standouts from the class of 2024.
Rosalie Cok Rosalie Cok SG Winston Salem Christian Regional | 2024 NC showed off her range shooting the ball, and she does a nice job crashing the boards looking for second chance opportunities. She was tough on defense disrupting her opponents’ drive to the basket and knocking the ball away. You could see her IQ on the court as she was directing her teammates where to go when running plays.

Amera Alexander Amera Alexander SF Winston Salem Christian Regional | 2024 NC was all over the court going after loose balls, grabbing steals, and pushing the tempo for her team. She didn’t back down from guarding the opposing team’s best player keeping her away from the basket as much as possible. She knew how to fill in the right role for her team to get some plays going.
Yahmani McKayle showed off her range shooting the ball, and she was aggressive protecting the possession as she drove hard to the hoop. She knew how to keep moving on offense even after she passed the ball shifting the defense and finding the openings. She was quick on defense being able to jump in front of passes and disrupt the opposing team’s offense.
Natalia Williams was strong attacking the basket and getting to the rim. She battled against anyone to get her points, and she didn’t back down from contact. She was a good facilitator on offense moving well without the ball to find the openings and scoring off the pass.
Jessica Worthey was a force on the boards getting inside for rebounds and using second chances on the offensive side to get some points. She stripped the ball from her opponents grabbing the steal and taking it the other direction finding her open teammates as they hustled up the court. She had a nice play inside getting the pass and old fashioned three point play in transition.
Korin Gladden was scoring on all levels attacking the basket and finishing from the free throw line. It seemed like her opponents could only foul her to slow her down, but she made sure to score from the line. She hustled after loose balls, too. She was persistent going after offensive rebounds, and she used her power dribbles to get into position for some points.
