Continue ReadingEmma led the charge launching a comeback against Grace Christian (NC) that fell short. In the games that I watched I didn’t see Emma miss a shot which made me wish that she could have shot some more. She has a well rounded game and can play multiple positions. She was effective both inside and out with the Roadrunners.
Highlights
Kyndal scoring 20 plus has become the norm this season. These rebounding totals, however, have been incredible from the point guard position. She averaged close to double figure rebounds in the SGGC and has been flirting with some triple doubles this season. Kyndal is making it really hard to keep her name off some of the preselected all-American teams.
Highlights
London is playing at an all-met level and was one of the best players in the building. Maret doesn’t get a lot of regular season attention and it would be disrespectful not to recognize what she is delivering. With everyone in the building focused on the McNamara vs IMG game, London and the Frogs were hosting a clinic one court over that was missed by many. She has obviously been logging time the gym and her hard work is paying off.
Jaeda was playing at a really high level knocking down shots from all over. Holy Child was playing in the axillary side of the gym so coaches needed to be intentional making the trip across the isle to see her. She did not disappoint as I talked to a few coaches that were inquiring about her services on the next level.
La’Nae had coaches kicking themselves for taking too long to notice her. She was solid inside and relentless on the boards. She showed that she could stretch the floor with the mid range which is going to enhance her value with the Retrievers.
Nyla was effortlessly destroying opponents at SGGC. Her play and the focus that teams have to put on her was making everyone look good. Ireton has a solid team with skilled players at every position, Nyla is a generational player that may be able to make them contenders. She didn’t show any weakness in her game as they ran through each opponent in the tournament.
