Gyselle Mairs
Gyselle Mairs
Gyselle Mairs (2027)/ CG/ Portsmouth
Mairs may be the best prospect in her class, Gyselle has an unbelievable game. She has a blazing quick first step, but very deceptive with her speed as she gets downhill. She has plenty of counters after using a hesitation to freeze her defenders. Mairs excels in the pick and roll action- drawing out the big or in an isolation situation attacking defenders who are rarely prepared for a flurry of moves coming at them in a rush. Gyselle has an incredibly quick release on a sniper jump shot. Gyselle is absolutely looking to get her shot off at any time while it may look like she is probing. Mairs hits euro steps, step backs, flashy passes and half court trick shots. She is a phenomenal talent who averages over 14 points a game, a little over 5 rebounds and just under 2 assists for Portsmouth.
Sarah Berube Sarah Berube 5’6″ | SG Lincoln School | 2026 NewE (2026)/ 5-2 CG/ Lincoln School/ Beat The Odds
Sarah is skilled guard who despite her stature, has a ruthless ability to shoot the ball at a high volume. Berube is a high iq player who knows how to score the ball. A hard-working guard who is everywhere on the floor looking to put pressure on the defense. Berube is constantly keeping her hands and feet active in all off-ball scenarios. Sarah has long range, excellent at creating contact and drawing the foul. Berube is a point generator that just finds ways to put the ball in the hoop. Berube is in the top five in scoring in the RIIL averaging just over 19 points a game.
Highlights
Lauren Bousquet Lauren Bousquet 5’10” | PF Moses Brown | 2026 State NewE (2026)/ 5-8 F/ Moses Brown/ MA Huskies
A double-double machine, Bousquet is a stat sheet stuffer who uses her strong frame to dominate for position and has a nice touch to finish baskets around the rim. Lauren is top three in the RIIL scoring with just over 19 points a game. Her bread and butter are from the high post and just below. Bousquet uses her jab step to create space and will play a tricky game with defenders whether they bite on the jab step or pump fake. Lauren likes to get comfortable in the mid-range area and will get her shot off under heavy pressure. She uses her crafty game and many counters as a hybrid forward to find a way to get a bucket within 16 feet from the basket. Bousquet is a very skilled 2-way F who rarely gets outworked on the floor.
Dariia Serednytska
Dariia Serednytska
Dariia Serednytska (2027)/ 6-2 PF/ Rocky Hill Country Day
Dariia is a long and tough 6-2 lengthy player who can play the PF or C spot, but excels as a weak side rebounder and trailer on the break. Serednytska averages over 12 rebounds a game and looks to feed everyone on her team, not only a second chance scorer, but showing some play making ability by averaging over 3 assists a game from the high post and short corner spots. Dariia has some raw skills, but already has enough skill to be one of the best at her position in her class.
Jaelynn Perez Jaelynn Perez 5’8″ | PG Moses Brown | 2026 State NewE (2026)/ 5-8 PG/ Moses Brown/ Team Providence
Jaelynn is the prototypical point guard you want on your team in today’s game. She is the type of guard to create turnovers on a dime and go coast to coast for a basket. A fast-paced PG who facilitates through penetration and keeping the defense on their heels as she attacks the paint and looks to create for others. Perez, an excellent defender is a top five player in the RIIL standings for steals. She averages a staggering 4 steals a game this season for Moses Brown. Perez is a hound on the defensive end guarding multiple positions straight up, playing the passing lanes and off hard traps causing easy transition points. Jaelynn records well over 2 assists a game with her tall frame seeing over the defense as she facilitates the action. Perez uses change of direction moves to get just about anywhere she wants in transition. Jaelynn is a premiere guard in the region.
