Gracyn Houck Gracyn Houck 5’7″ | SG Brighton | 2027 State MI was huge in the game against Canton. In the first half she was playing much bigger than her height. Even as a guard, Houck was putting her back to the basket and working effectively off the block. She utilized a pretty baseline floater score as well as a swooping drive that led to 2 points. Houck was also a very solid passer that knew how to attack angles with the bounce pass.
Tramble was a beast in the paint against Brighton. She showed the ability to control, and at times dominate, the glass on the defensive end. Tramble used her power on put back attempts in traffic, but also used touch on a floater. She makes her opponent work really hard on the glass on both ends and had the ability to draw fould and get to the free throw line.
In case any college coach is wondering, her knee is good and is a non concern. Simpson is known as an athletic scorer, but her defense stood out to me. She played denial D on the perimeter and played the passing lanes as well. Simpson really displayed a high defensive IQ. She had a handful of steals in the win against Black River. Simpson was incredibly patient on offense, not forcing up shots for the sake of numbers. She flaunted a nasty right to left crossover that ended up in her going to the free throw line.

Kenzie Brothers
Brothers was fast with the ball in her hands and was constantly working to get downhill with the ball in her hands. She had a fast first step and a right to left crossover that could develop into a real strength. Brothers also showed the ability to establish position on the block and work with her back to the basket.
Pierson was a patient player that took shots when they were there, but has always been more about working hard and developing athlete’s game. She showed some excellent defensive anticipation, picking off a pass and turning it into points. Pierson
