She knocked down shots from beyond the arc and showed nice touch finishing at the rim with a smooth, controlled layup. Gracyn also made good reads as a passer, creating opportunities for her teammates. Gracelyn had another productive season for Brighton and earned recognition as KLAA West All-Conference. She has a silky smooth pull-up jumper and puts on a clinic with her fancy footwork, pivoting, and balance. Gracyn is a threat from beyond the arc and distributes passes with great vision. She’s active on defense and a committed rebounder. Gracyn will be a guard to watch in District 13.

Gracyn missed some time due to injury, but was back in full for Brighton at the Big North Shootout. She scored an offensive rebound put-back, drained a straightaway three, and dished strong skip passes across the court to open teammates. Gracyn picked off a pass for a steal, rocketed a one-handed pass to a teammate for an assist, and used a quick sweep move from the wing to score a layup off the dribble. Gracyn makes smart decisions with the ball, has excellent footwork, and posts up defenders in the post. I’m excited to see her back on the circuit this July!

Gracyn frequently demonstrated playmaking abilities against tough competition on the travel circuit and looked like a top dog on the court this fall. Gracyn competes aggressively on defense to create steals and battles for rebounds. She has excellent balance and accuracy shooting mid-range or 3-point jumpers off the dribble. Gracyn uses her fancy footwork inside to create space for floaters and is very effective at scoring contested shots around the basket. Gracyn’s ball-handling poise under pressure, court vision, and awareness cutting without the ball make her an effective combo guard. Gracyn is a breakout candidate who I anticipate to be in the conversation for an All-Conference nomination this season.

Gracyn is a guard who contributes in every way to help her team be successful and she showed those attributes at The Expo on Saturday with Team 8. Gracyn froze the defender by pausing on the wing and then shifted gears to drive by her using a crossover dribble. She closed out hard on the perimeter to force a turnover and buried a smooth corner 3. Gracyn uses excellent footwork in the paint to give herself an opening to score around defenders and she finished a layup off two feet.

consistently made winning plays on the offensive end at the Mitten Summer Showdown on Sunday for Mystics-Chosen. She drilled a corner jumper off the catch, finished off two in the paint, knocked down a free throw, and used a low crossover to beat pressure. Gracyn used an effective low-rip move to score a contested floater off two, hit clutch baskets, made great seals in the low post, and ripped the ball out of her opponent’s hands. She has continued to impress on the travel circuit for Mystics-Chosen.
