I could write a Freshcorn book with all the times I’ve praised her game. But guess what? She deserves it, and she deserves it again this time. The Columbia Central guard braved the cold weather and heated up in a 70-30 win against Manchester. She paced her team with 20 total points.

Similarly to Freshcorn above, I still don’t think that some people realize exacttly how talented Kerley really is. She scored her 1000th point in a 53-26 East Jackson win against Addison. Kerley absolutely caught fire early in the game and continued it throughout, ending up with 29 total points.
Conzelmann was drawing rave reviews for her performance yesterday at the SVSU MLK High School Classic. She led the way in her Frankenmuth team’s impressive 62-41 win against a talented Lake Fenton squad. Conzelmann finished with a smooth 17 points.

Sowers certainly turned some heads with her play in a Notre Dame Prep win against Swartz Creek. While it was freezing outside during the game last night, Sowers caught fire inside. She was absolutely electric on the offensive end of the floor finishing with 30 points, which were both game and career highs.
Maki led Escanaba to a 46-38 victory against Menominee. Despite the frigid weather, she kept the people at the scorer’s table sweating trying to keep up with her. Maki had a terrific all around game, touching all corners of the stat sheet. She finished with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. She may be far up north, but she’s had one of the best seasons statewide so far.
