Lincoln County High School traveled down to Daytona Beach Florida to play in the Sunshine Classic. The went undeafeated (3-0), including a big time win versus Dobyns-Bennett (TN). Bryan has been a force for Lincoln all year long as a scorer and rebounder all year long. She averaged 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals for the tournament. The ’25 multi-skilled player also hit the 1,000 point mark half-way through her junior year over during the tournament. Congrats @abbybryan2025!
Nihla Brown
Nihla Brown
Brown is an extremely skilled, two-way guard that’s a ton of fun to watch. Defensively, she’s a menace with her combination of grittiness, length, athleticism, and willingness to battle. She’s plays with an infectious energy and enthusiasm for the game. Offensively, she shot be a green-light shooter! She can get hot quick, and has a lighting quick release. She plays really well with fellow 2025 Abby Bryan Abby Bryan 5’10” | SF Lincoln County | 2025 State TN .
In a Christmas time trip to Panama City Beach, Father Ryan took home a third place finish. I was able to catch their semifinal and third place game, and Abby Larkin Abby Larkin 5’9″ | SF Father Ryan | 2025 State TN one of the more steady guards in her class. She’s simply stoic out there, leads, by example, and and lets the game come to her. She’s the type of kid that won’t jump out at you statistically, but she’s always going to end up in double figures scoring wise. Had a 17 point, 18 rebound game in the first round. Larkin was the Portland Christmas tournament MVP.
Olivia McWright
Olivia McWright
I’m not sure if McWright wants to play college basketball (I couldn’t find out for sure online), but the PG can play. She simply carries herself like a PG, and did so on the way to earning a spot on the All Tournament team. Her passing ability is high level, and she really knows how to lead an offense. Had one twelve assist game over the break, and can hit the 3 ball. This ’24 can play!
Fielding also earned All Tournament honors for Father Ryan. Fielding is a smooth shooting ’26 that is really developing into a player. She’s gaining confidence as not just a shooter, but also someone that can make plays off the bounce. She fits really well into her role on this FR team.
I think Kieffaber is the unsung hero of this Father Ryan squad. She the dirty work, role player that every team needs. She’s a two-way player that always plays hard, plays smart, makes the right pass, doesn’t care who score….and will still average eight point and eight rebounds without aiming to do anything other than win. Really competitive kid who also had a great tourney run for Father Ryan.
