[player_tooltip player_id='1068199' first='Allyson' last='Tsosie'], Kiera Beall-Gleason & [player_tooltip player_id='635350' first='Emilia' last='Clani'] | Kirtland Central

Tsosie: 22 pts, Beall-Gleason: 14 pts & Clani: 14 pts vs SPX

The Broncos trio each had themselves a great outing vs the Lady Sartans, helping their team in a variety of ways to collect the road win. Tsosie was lethal from the perimeter with her 3-point shot, finishing with five made 3's. Beall-Gleason was a handful in the interior and on the glass while Clani was effective off the dribble and in catch and shoot situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='1054266' first='Bella' last='Candelaria'], [player_tooltip player_id='385929' first='Alyssa' last='Maes'] & [player_tooltip player_id='458557' first='Catalina' last='Anaya'] | SPX

Candelaria: 19 pts & Maes: 18 pts vs KC

Anaya: 14 pts vs Sandia

Although, it was a one-sided affair vs KC, Bella and Alyssa were bright spots on the offensive end for SPX. Maes was able to create off the bounce while Candelaria was raining down DEEP 3-pointers. As for Anaya, she was the the lone standout vs Sandia just two days later. Anaya was able to get to the cup vs the Matadors with a quick first step and was once again solid on defense.

Selim Neel & [player_tooltip player_id='560961' first='Janessa' last='Gallegos'] | Atrisco Heritage Academy

Neel: 19 pts & Gallegos: 15 pts vs Santa Fe

The Jaguars had a nice 1-2 punch with Selim and Janessa vs Santa Fe, but ultimately came up just short. However, the duo was able to finish with solid outings on the offensive end. Neel was connecting on several three-pointers from the wings and corners while Gallegos was getting to the foul-line with ease. Neel spaced the floor, Gallegos was slashing and cutting creating rim pressure, keeping Demon defenders on their toes.

[player_tooltip player_id='391103' first='Sydney' last='Benally'] & [player_tooltip player_id='391104' first='Hope' last='Giddings'] | Sandia

Benally: 27 pts & Giddings: 14 pts vs SPX

It is a tough task to contain Benally, both in the halfcourt and on the fast break as she possesses a great motor, terrific instincts and plays with tremendous heart. Giddings was lethal in transition, both as a scorer and passer, forcing Sartan defenders into tough situations all game long.

[player_tooltip player_id='467054' first='Aleena' last='Rodriguez'] | Eunice

24 pts vs Fort Hancock (TX)

Slowly evolving into a three-level scorer. Rodriguez is making great strides in her ability to put the ball on the floor and score. The 3-point shot has always been there, but now that she can create off the bounce, it is forcing opposing defenders to respect the drive, resulting in Aleena having space to rise up.

[player_tooltip player_id='642725' first='Tessa' last='Jaramillo'] | Los Lunas

19 pts & 9 stl vs Piedra Vista

Jaramillo was able to create and score off the dribble and did a terrific job moving without the ball -- coming off of flare screens -- The junior CG was also disruptive on defense vs PV, anticipating skip-passes and collecting multiple steals in the halfcourt and when pressing fullcourt.

[player_tooltip player_id='814476' first='Bethzy' last='Quinones'] | Las Cruces

18 pts vs Hobbs

It was an efficient outing for Quinones vs arguably the toughest defensive team in 5A, the Hobbs Lady Eagles -- Quinones was 50 percent from the field (7/14 FG) and was also steady at the charity stripe (4/5 FT). Bethzy also chipped in with 4 rebounds and 4 assists, showcasing an all-around game.

[player_tooltip player_id='642723' first='Tyra' last='Holyan'] | Piedra Vista

20 pts vs Los Lunas

Holyan went to work vs the Tigers; In addition to her 20 points, Tyra also recorded 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Holyan was consistently getting clean looks in the halfcourt and controlling the glass. The junior F/C shot 50 percent from the field (8/15 FG) and was a cool 80 percent from the foul-line (4/5 FT).

[player_tooltip player_id='814475' first='Lorrena' last='Viarreal'] | Mayfield

15 pts vs Hobbs

The junior forward is quietly becoming one of the top 3-point shooters regardless of class. Lorrena is confident behind the arc and is not afraid to 'let it fly'. Viarreal was deadly from the 3-point line for the Trojans as she finished with three made 3's, giving Hobbs problems in the halfcourt, especially on the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='458555' first='Bhret' last='Clay'] | Hobbs

DBL-DBL 10 pts 10 reb vs Mayfield

A dynamic scorer who thrives on second chance opportunities and transition situations. Clay is arguably the best perimeter player with the ability to collect a defensive rebound and take the ball coast-to-coast. Explodes downcourt and is an excellent finisher at the rim.
