The freshman 5’8 PG is averaging 9 attempted free throws per game. That’s a huge number for a freshman guard. She’s also averaging 17 points and 12 rebounds. Lilly Woodruff Lilly Woodruff 5’8″ | SG Sweetwater | 2027 TN is a one woman wrecking crew.
Maria Lyde
Maria Lyde
Lyde was one of the most impressive freshmen at the Andrew Johnson Bank tourney. I watched her to the free throw line twelve times in one game! As a super athletic PF, she’s almost impossible for bigger player to stay in front of. Down the road, Lyde will be a matchup nightmare, and is already in the top 20 in the state in free throws attempted.
Crawford is the best player on a really nice Dyersburg team. She is a 3 level scorer that has really taken pride in attacking the rim this season. The junior is averaging sixteen points a game with 6 of those coming at the line each night.
Highlights
Branam is always a fun player to cover. Local oberservers know of her as a double double machine for TKA. She’s also in the top 15 in free throws attempted per game in the state. Most impressively is that she is shooting 87% from the free throw line at high volume numbers. Branam’s shooting touch really gives her a chance to be a very good collegiate player.
Ray is an interesting player for Cascade. She averages 13 points per game as a 5’8 junior, but doesn’t use the 3 ball much. She’s constantly attacking the rim, and collapsing defenses. Not only will Ray create easy points with layup and free throws, but she’s also a nice kick-out passer to 3 point shooters on the perimeter.
Kirby, a 5’8 junior guard, is averaging 10 points a game this year. She’s developed a great reputation as a shooter, as her stroke is simply pure. She’s Top 25 in the state in free throws attempted and knocking down 80%. All the skills are there for her to have a huge season next year as a senior.

One of the better posts in the area, Green is have a stellar year averaging 12 points and 5 rebounds as a 5’10 post. She’s in the Top 35 in Free Throws Attempted, and she too is shoot 80% from the free throw line. Green’s upside is big as her shooting touch is high level.
The 6’0 senior guard is averaging 18.6 points per game. She’s long been knows as a prolific shooter, but this year she’s taken another leap as a player and is not a multidimensional threat to score anywhere on the floor. She’s Top 30 in Free Throws attempted, and is shooting 83% from the line. One of the must intuitive scorers in the class.
