brings an effective game to the small forward position.
She is most dangerous on offense when she gets inside the paint. She has fancy footwork and a good understanding of moves that will be effective in postup situations. This, paired with her above-average touch around the basket, makes her a great interior scorer. Woodruff is also a great creator for others on offense as well as a capable three-point shooter.
Another facet that stands out about Woodruff is her rebounding ability. Her IQ shows up again in this skill of hers. She reads the ricochets off the rim better than most players, and that, paired with her fundamentals around the paint on defense, helps lead to big rebounding numbers. Both of these interior skills of hers, on offense and defense last season, were showcased in a game against Copper Basin High School, where she recorded a double-double. Woodruff had 16 points and 10 rebounds in the game.

Woodruff is a solid well-rounded athlete. Offensively, she continues to do a great job attacking and scoring in the mid-range. I love how hard she crashes the boards on both ends of the court. She does an excellent job reading where the ball is coming off the rim, and she has a knack for finding open areas on the floor. She’s a tough player, and you never have to question the effort that she brings every game!

Skilled. Two words that come to mind when talking about this young lady. She plays the game of basketball with relentless effort. In doing so, she finds herself in favorable spots to contribute to her team. It doesn’t matter what end of the floor she is on, she is going to be in the mix or around the play. Offensively, she can score from all 3 levels. She isn’t afraid of contact, so expect her to go up strong in the painted area. Defensively, she is going to lock up her opponent and grab rebounds. There were several games this past season where she hit the double-double mark. This kid is athletic, and her style of play elevates those around her.

Woodruff has been an all-around stat stuffer! She has put up numerous double-doubles this season. She poured in 33 points and 16 rebounds against Sequoyah. She also added a 14 point, 22 rebound game against Loudon. She has had stats like this all season! Numerous double-doubles is not an easy feature. Lilly is a fundamentally sound athlete that will box you out and go after every rebound. Woodruff is great at getting to the rim. She’s tough to stop when she attacks downhill. Keep your eyes on this one!

Woodruff literally did everything for Sweetwater as freshman. She was their de facto primary ball handler in tough spots, but was also asked to play some post. She was their best scorer, passer, rebounder, ball handler, and defender.
She averaged 17 points and 12 rebounds with defenses loading up on her on a nightly basis. She led them in every counting statistical category. She could end up being of the the best ’27s in a very loaded class.

Versatile player that plays much bigger than her 5’8 listed height. Her effort and will to win make her a great rebounder for her position. High level shot maker that can score both inside and out. Instinctual scorer that doesn’t has to think too much; she just finds a way. Solid court vision.

As a freshman, she put up a simple 18 points 10 rebounds. I’ve heard she’s looking even better this season in team camp, and is turning into a true 3 level scorer. In very limited minutes, she’s averaging 14 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block. By the end of her career, she will likely smash every record in Sweetwater GBB history.

I’m really proud of this kid. She’s elite, but basketball has never really been her sport (she also REALLLLLLLY elite at softball). So, this is her first year playing high level AAU, and she’s really beginning to feel comfortable. In their win #2 over Hoops ATL she finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds….give her essentially two double doubles in two games this weekend.

I’ll continue to say she’s likely the most underrated 2027 in her class. She had a huge performance with 9 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists. Her ability to be a constant double-double threat is excellent, and while her scoring numbers have been down a bit in AAU, I think she’s really hitting her stride.

Maybe the most underrated ’27 in the state. This summer will say a lot about her as she gets to play with better players which should allow her to focus on what she’s best at. For Sweetwater, the freshman did EVERTHING. Every team’s scouting report revolved around stopping her, and she still averaged 17 points and 12.5 rebounds. She also shot the 2nd most free throws by a freshman (according to Max Preps) right in between #1
