You simply cannot talk about 2029 prospects in Kentucky without mentioning Jayden McClain the phenom at Ryle High School. At 13 years old she stands at 6’5 and already holds 6 Division-I offers and 5 of those offers are from Power 5 schools. She is also the youngest Bluestar 30 to ever be inducted into the club. McClain is a ferocious shot blocker and a excellent low post scorer that can also step out and knock down shots from the perimeter. You can catch her running with the FBC New Youngunz this upcoming AAU season.
Charlotte McCurry
Charlotte McCurry
Charlotte McCurry has been outstanding for John Hardin High School all-season long. She is the teams second-leading scorer putting up 12.8 PPG and the teams leading rebounder pulling down 6.1 RPG. She has good size, incredible wingspan, can score from 3-levels, handle the ball, facilitate, and rebound at a very high rate. This stat stuffer had some notable performances this month including 16 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 blocks against rival North Hardin as well as 21 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in a district game against E-Town. Charlotte has all the tools and potential to be a D1 prospect, I am eager to see what she does this travel season on the Adidas Circuit playing for United Basketball Club.
Lainey Hall
Lainey Hall
Lainey Hall is playing very well for Jeffersontown High School this season. She has a knack for scoring the basketball, she is a good outside shooter that can also put the ball on floor and get to the rim. Hall has several games this season where she put up 13+ points and I think she will get better and better and make a name for herself throughout the state as she continues to grow and develop her game.
Ryleigh Feltner
Ryleigh Feltner
The first highlight video I viewed of Ryleigh Feltner I knew right then and there she was a special talent. She has played very well in her first year playing at the high school level and continues to build a reputation as one of the top shooter’s in her class. Feltner is a lights out 3-pointer shooter with impressive range, a quick-trigger release and is more than capable of going for 20+ points any time she steps on the court to compete. College coaches should take notice of this young lady early because she has big time potential.
Rhys Everett Rhys Everett KY
Rhys Everett Rhys Everett KY
Rhys Everett Rhys Everett KY is a 2029 prospect out of Northern Kentucky that has been showing a lot promise playing for Conner High School this season. She competes hard on both ends of the floor and her size and skill allows her to be effective in the post and from the perimeter. She is a very good rebounder that has a nice shooting touch from deep and shows the ability to score off the bounce as well. Everett plays with toughness and she flat out loves to compete I see her making some noise in the 9th region as she continues to tap into her potential.
Tamia Waide
Tamia Waide
I’ve been hearing a lot about this young talent from Lexington, KY that plays for Henry Clay High School named Tamia Waide. She has played in 26 games and is averaging 5.5 PPG and 3.2 RPG this season. I was able to get a glimpse of her last week when Henry Clay hosted Whitefield Academy and I was impressed with what I saw. Waide has good size, length and a great feel for the game at such a young age. She played with poised and brings a competitive edge to floor. She is a solid outside shooter that also knows how to attack the basket and earn trips to the free throw line. Waide has great upside and I believe she will leave her mark on this program for years to come.
