London Turner, Clarksburg, 2025, Guard
London is an explosive guard with a high motor and a nice package of finishing moves around the basket. She gets downhill quickly with her first step and uses her upper body strength to keep defenders at bay. She plays off two feet and has a nice mid-range game. At 5’9″ she has good length and size.
Morgan Dow Morgan Dow 5'11" | SF North Point | 2024 State MD , North Point, 2024, Forward
Morgan’s length really stands out and she is very agile and quick. They have her listed at 5’11” but she looked taller than that to me. She’s very efficient around the basket and looked comfortable handling the ball in transition. Defensively she cleans up a lot of mistakes with her rotations in help and her ability to guard on the perimeter. I think she is being overlooked by college coaches, but a good run in states will fix that.
Alana Joy Alana Joy 5'9" | SF Flowers | 2026 State MD , CH Flowers, 2026, Wing
Alana will definitely be heard from in the next round. She is a demon on defense with her speed and instincts wreaking havoc on ball handlers. She gets into the paint consistently and is a good finisher. She’s even more dangerous now that she has expanded her range out to the three-point line.
Marlee Williams Marlee Williams 5'10" | CG Frederick | 2027 State MD , Frederick, 2027, Guard
Marlee is a must-see attraction. The Freshman guard can play both the point and off the ball. She is physically strong and plays with a ton of confidence. She is relentless but plays with poise and composure. She has all the physical tools to excel at the next level. Looking forward to seeing what she does under the pressure of the playoffs.
Starr Munford Starr Munford 5'7" | SG Glen Burnie | 2026 State MD , Glen Burnie, 2026, Guard
Starr is a scoring guard with a lot of potential. She has a nice shot and keeps the defense honest with her range. She’s a good finisher with both hands in paint and can play some point guard if necessary. She looks more comfortable off the ball at this point. She is a capable defender and I expect her to be turned up in their second-round match-up. They won’t advance if she doesn’t have a big game.
